I like the fact that Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Dolan's Cadillac take place in the same universe. I also like to think that Spicoli knew what Robinson had done, and didn't tell anyone, partly out of sympathy, and partly because he thought it was awesome.

Such an interesting & creative take on a fantastic simple and quiet horror story! i love this one because it feels so real, and I love all the additional little details! I feel like these more mundane non-supernatural stories get overlooked a bit when people talk about King's work, so it's such fun when you feature one!

This has been one of my favorite Stephen King story since I first read it and 7:00 or 8th grade. And it's surprises me because it's one that so many people have no idea exists. I mean I can't imagine what I would do to somebody that hurt someone I love, but I'm pretty sure I'm just tweaked enough in the head too. Do something like this man did. My favorite part is after dude drives into the pit and he's screaming to be let out and offering money and all this other shit and then he finally realizes nope nothing he says can get him out of it. Great

Let me tell you what it means to be called salt of the earth. It’s a person who lives by a moral code. Someone who has absorbed all the positive lessons of life and applied them to his own. Someone whose first question is how can I help? The kind of a man that no one has ever said a bad word about. And when he’s gone from this place the world is a little poorer for loss of him. I know firsthand because my dear husband was one of those people. Truly one in a billion. RIP William R.🕯️
