Man. Like little dinosaurs - but mowing on the cabbage! It does look like you have some flies there around the tortoises, or maybe just when you feed them juicy stuff, so the Venus Flytrap should do well. They like boggy or acidic soil with uncontaminated water. So they'll probably do very well there! Grew some in a terrarium once to keep them humidified, but you probably won't have any problems with the humidity you have there in Hawai'i? Wouldn't that be a hoot if Venus Flytraps find a new home range in Hawai'i! The new dangerous invasive species to watch out for!

My buddy Chris Nolter might be traumatised by this video. I better go warn him. His mum gave him cabbage soup & he was crook as afterwards. Actually I’m gonna share a link to this video with him coz that’s the kind of shit stirring friend I am. 😁 I absolutely love watching these guys munching away.
