Always fun to see pre-production versions of vehicles I know. You can see what the original designers were going for. And where the pencil pushers decided cuts had to be made. (No 4 wheel independent suspension, all metal parts you see on exterior end up being plastic, that cool wrap over windshield gets ditched, headers swapped for manifolds, custom cut tires changed for off the shelf bfgs, interior ends being completely toned down) At the end of the day, a completely one of a kind design was binned for a body swapped 3/4 ton suburban.

It’s a truck it’s all about torque and it still has good tq even by today’s standard and it handles like a sports car
@Zaucey3 жыл бұрын
@Sativa I have a 99 std cab rt. It’s factory height with just bolt ons. Death busa is sort of correct on the handling… it DOES NOT feel like you’re driving a truck most of the time. Very minimal body roll. Steering is very tight, sort of heavy and ratio is very quick. Dodge did a damn good job for once. I wouldn’t say it handles like a sports car but it will surprise you… It’s very easy to forget you’re driving a truck

Well they out performed the Mustang on lateral g’s when they came out and I can fit stuff in the bed that won’t fit in a car they did have a problem when people would try to tow with them they could pull a lot more weight than the truck could control due to not having the weight to stop it

I know it's been a while and I'm pretty sure it's been done but I can't help but see a Modern Interpretation of The Lil Red Express. For me I'd need a "King Cab" or "Crew Cab". Wouldn't even need to start with an R/T.

As it is with every episode, the last 15 seconds, in the credits, show you the year. So, you’d see its 20(!) years old - 2001. 21:04

Trucks! started back in the late 90's and it was just one of MULTIPLE series Powerblock had. Eventually Powerblock became PowerNation (which also has a KZbin channel that post their shows) which continues to make multiple weekly shows to this very day. They've been slowly converting their OLD shows to digital so they can add them to digital and streaming platforms. Stacey David only did a few years before doing his own shows and currently has a youtube channel as well.

Just under 200 HP at the wheels is impressive? My stock Acura TL makes that...since when is under 200 WHP impressive for a 5.9L V8?
@TheCoopMan3 жыл бұрын
Rated at 250 at the flywheel. Was pretty standard power. For late 90s-00s in trucks.

Lmao especially for a V8 compared to a 4 or 6 cylinder Acura that ain't shit like they make close to 3 either way so that's sad for a V8 vs the smaller engines and it's the biggest motor made in that truck how pitiful
