Strat - you can fit 3 mines in each deposit if you place them in a triangle formation. This can be really useful for min-maxing hardcore runs with iron production.

Love your Videos. I'm happy they are fixing the granary dilemma. I had a similar Marketplace with a ton of granaries around. My vegetables were located close to two granaries, which were focused in vegetables. Same with the apples. They were the ones with the stalls, because they're collecting just once a year. Bread, honey and meet were just collected by granaries close to the market. The guys with the stalls were restocking from all granaries. Felt quite consistent.

I switched to pc about a year ago and its just sooo exciting discovering and playing all the new and better games :):) not to mention mouse and keyboard is just waay begger :) enjoy!

You could just replace maybe ten of those veggie gardens with a single large one, use singles for the other 9 doubles to get many 15 or so additional extensions out of it for an extra 180 eggs per year (though their spoilage is currently bugged) or if going for the double perk 146 meat, with salt you can double that into sausages. All while the 4 fathers of that huge veggie garden could still work 4 apiaries - and all the other families can fully concentrate on their assigned jobs. Or if you really hate single burgages, coops and pigsties, you could build those without extensions and make everything tighter. Veggie gardens planted in March yield about twice as much as the family consumes in the first year, so not a deficit. Orchards only produce 33% for the first 3 harvests (you can get one in the year they were planted, if early enough) - 1 apple from every other tree. Once mature, they yield 3 apples every other tree. 38:45 That's just very wrong. If set up right, you get 352 fish per year from the regular pond (so almost 30 families, minus spoilage), 624 fish if you invest in the perk. A rich shoal with the perk will yield 1,135 fish per year and you never need more than 5 families for that. That's almost 95 families, or 285 people, on nothing but fish. Now consumption is currently random, but if we'd assume roughly equal consumption of food types, with your other 5 or 6 food types you could have enough fish for town of 1.5k people.

I know this video is from an old version but Fish are very useful, even a small pond. You have to make sure you are treating it like you do berries and try to keep up with the spawning in the spring.

Basic question, does the ground fertility matter for the house vegetable gardens? I assume that it's only for the large grain crops but the house plot gardens could be placed on barren rock and still produce food.

Burgage plot extensions don't use fertility stats, so veggies and apples can go anywhere

hunting grounds more than doubles the reproduction rate of deer, especially for regular spawns; and it reduces farming yields by significantly more than 50%

I have a challenge for you, each region self sustaining or trading with other regions, all settled and able to just exist without any outside interference on the players part aside from combat.

Hey strat, great video. Regarding granaries. I have a question. Do the workers still travel to pick up other items in other granary even tho u limit each granary to single item

@BoneKrakka no, they will stay true to the limit you place, but anyone outside that won't. So like pack station workers, production workers, etc. will still put goods where they shouldn't be, but it's usually in small volume so not a big deal

Apiary says more than 2 will not produce more per region. Is that not true?

It's not accurate. I had over 80 producing honey. Don't put more than 1 worker per apiary though

@@Strat-Guides 80 in one region isn't useful though. The maximum per region is 2 honeycombs per day, which you can easily hit with 30 or so apiaries.

Great video with a lot of awesome tips! Just one idea for meat for a 1000 pop town that worked for me - You can build pasture, import like 20 sheeps, let them populate to 500 ( prob take 5 years or more) then build butcher to produce meat once the sheep population surpasses 500. Set the minimum sheep amount to keep at 500. Cheers!

Love your vids since Bannerlord! Keep up the good work. Also one more thing, The sheeps also synergize well with farms since they will also restore fertility very quickly on a fallow year. Needs a development point tho.

I had fun with sheep breeding in my last game, since there's a cap per region I had every region with sheep breeding sending sheep into my central town to be butchered and turned into sausages. Caps were export after like 100 sheep and 10 lambs

You already hit the breeding cap with 30 sheep, so you can slaughter all lambs at that point - no need to wait for 500 sheep and accumulate way too much wool anyhow.

Imagine if he adds in wine for level 3 burgage plots, so you would have vineyards, vintners, and a special building for wine. also if he adds in wine he should also add cheese, which would require cattle for dairy farms which could also be a source of meat and hides.
