Interesting to see some blind versus blind content. It's a spot that I don't focus on as much as I should.

Imo the reason for the 95cc being better than the 9h5x is that when you make the flush, 9c5c is going to be a more nutted hand+ you are IP so you'll be able to extract more value from it. But idrk that is just from guessing, i'd love a response❤

This was my thinking as well. Whereas if you float the 95cc OOP and the turn is a club, the board is now two-tone and BTN is supposed to barrel a lot with a big size, so then what are you going to do? Call a big bet OOP w/ 9 high flush draw?

I wanna thank you BBZ and Lex Veldhuis for this awesome and amazing free content!! I was stuck in micro stakes and kept losing my BR. With your free content I went from -bb/100 to +12bb/100 and had some great successes already and even a tournament win! Keep it up =D

I think in BBvD we have a lot more flushes than in BvB, so cards like Qh blocker becomes stronger. That's how I made sense of the explanation

at 23:00 isn't the reason 93s of clubs is better than 93o with 9 of hearts because hitting the flush is so much stronger with only 3 clubs out, compared to hitting the hearts having 4 hearts out (way easier for opponent to have a heart than to have 2 clubs)

how do you rate a 9 high flush on a 4 flush board vs on a 3flush board ? is it a real question ?

In regards to 95c 9h5x bdfd combos and which one is better, could the clubs combo be slightly favourable also because it has the chance to make a flush on 3 suited board, while the 9h5c combo makes it only on 4 suited board which eventually complicates value betting down the line

Why is the desired fold frequency facing a half pot bet at 33%? I would expect it to be 25% since we are getting 3 to 1 on our call.

How are you supposed to play turns if you've raised 87s their stabbed cbet on 325 and they've called? Do you continue aggression only if you improve?
@ZanttuXD
@ZanttuXD 6 ай бұрын
Not a pro, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'd venture to guess that unless you improve you kinda play the 87s like you had 32s there. Because you have all the 2 pairs in your range + the straight and your opponent doesn't, you need to find quite many multi-barrel bluffs with you worst hands like 87s.

Let´s say the turn is another 2. Only checks are coming from 2nd pair, the rest goes bezerk. Value as well as close to zero equity hands.

Seems to bring a lot of complicated turns after calling this, we stab allot when check too? With so little showdown value in most hands.
@patrickmcphee770
@patrickmcphee770 6 ай бұрын
Exactly. there’s no doubt that this information is important to know, but it’s going to put people in all kinds of weird places on the turn. Lets say you’re somebody you folds when you don’t have it and call when you got it, sometimes you stab or raise randomly at the pot when you have a feeling. You can do the same thing on the turn, just now you know, how often you should be there. I’m trying to picture what the turn charts looks like. I would imagine it is important to know what turns and rivers you should be firing on regardless of your hole cards. I guess whenever you have the nut advantage?
@Nobody33566
@Nobody33566 Ай бұрын
@@patrickmcphee770 this is why is better to start doing the right play and calling some tough spots. After that you can save the hand to see what is the strategy on turns. But if you never call flop, you will never be able to get those EV on turn and river
