Hi there Jeff! Not the happiest song right. But even when I saw your answer to my wish, I knew you would love it. I was never worried. But despite that, I was no less happy when you seem to love the performance. I have a life I'm not particularly happy with except that I have a lovely wife with whom I had a fantastic son. That's enough. But a few times I have become proud of myself. I (and several others) have suggest this song many times and very many have liked it. Bringing Aurora's songs to an audience that loves her for what she does is what we Warriors and weirdos want to do and Sir this time it felt like real and not just capture a lot of AURORA fans as numbers in their supporter crowd. From the bottom of my heart thank you. It was especially beautiful that you said - She means what she sings, and that's so right. In fact, it's so in every single performance she sings. She never plays (Maybe there is but I have never seen it.) Yes she can be very quirky and playful and often very surprisingly spontaneous but she has an ability to do it with a heart. It was with this song that I began to call her my soul healer. Again thank you Sir and you could be sure that i am Appear on your page again soon.

That melancholic is a natural thing for us Norwegian people. We are proud people who love our country, our nature and our patriotism. Norwegians is shaped by our beautiful nature, and the vikinglife of course. And it comes out when we sing from our ♥. Many say Norwegian people are strange. But we are not so strange, we are just being honest to who we are and where we live. And that we preciate everything around us. The wintercold, the summerheat, the autumn and the spring. We simply love our country so much and being proud of it too. Aurora is a true nature child being barefoot like many Norwegian people like to be. Not because we don't have shoes but because we simply love being barefoot when spring is coming, with the sun and the heat. Angelina does it too, but for another reason, on stage. But she's been barefoot since she learned to walk as a baby. The Norwegian love is strong. When we love we shows it with our hole body and soul. Like Aurora, she's pure love. Love from Norway 🇳🇴

Hi Jeff it is hard to comprehend how a child of 9 could write such an in-depth song like this but what’s more amazing is her abilities at the age of 6 to put melodies together on an old piano that she taught herself to play, This song and the whole concert is a concert that everyone should have on there bucket list the quality as you said is at the highest level, but the performance of Aurora is Breathtaking honestly I can’t think of any artist that would move emotions like this special artist she simply becomes the instrument the vessel that takes you on the same journey seeing all that she sees,Jeff you could choose any of her songs from this concert but the stand out one for me is Murder song 54321, I’ve never been moved as deeply in my life,I was right there with her seeing and feeling every emotion,I was moved beyond words I only had tears, I’ve no hesitation in saying that as an artist singer songwriter Aurora is more than special she’s a Genius and we are blessed to have her music in our lives.stay safe my friend sending ❤️from the UK

I honestly think it's the best recorded performance I've ever seen (the entire concert, not just this song). From Aurora, to her band, to the orchestra, to the choir, to the filming, to the lighting, to the mixing, to the editing, everything. It's an absolute masterclass in how to perform and record a live performance. When you watch it, you think, of course, that's how it should be, because it seems so natural. But it's not that easy! I love live performances, and I've seen many recorded performances in different genres I would consider 10/10, but none come close to this one in terms of everything just being perfect. Thank you for this exceptionally detailed reaction to AURORA. AURORA's songs always have a strong message. Often the messages are not very clear either. They can be interpreted so that many people can relate them to themselves. Her movements while singing are extraordinary. She is often so into the song that she shakes her body or head uncontrollably (--> Murder song, It happened quiet) and need 2-3 seconds to come back. She is capable of transporting feelings because she allows a look into her soul. - Murder song (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert - is it brave to sing a murder song at a Nobel Peace Prize Concert? - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current) - it's about the rape of a woman - some say - these perfect harmonies - Exist For Love (Official Video - VEVO) - best love song ever!!!😍😍😍 - Cure For Me (Official Video - VEVO) - if you want to dance - so different (from her new album) - Heathens (Live Performance) - the lyrics are mindlowing (from her new album) I usually prefer her live performances. But in these cases the VEVO video is more impressive. I hope you enjoy AURORA. Have a nice week and Greetings from Germany

Hi Jeff, it takes one to know one, ha ha! It would be great if you could do reactions to her videos. Are there any you haven't seen yet, though? And yes, I love my pp as well! I may have some new information for you about Sat In Your Lap. Drummer Preston Heyman once told me through facebook how he unintendedly broke a bamboostick while recording that video. He was one of the rollerskaters with a bullsmask, hitting with the bamboosticks on the floor. Kate must have a great sense of humor, because she used this specific sound in the final mix of the song. You can here it at 2'00 in the song. It also lets us know that working on the music continued even after this video was shot! The Dreaming is indeed a fantastic album. So many layers to discover. I was stunned with this album when it was released. It immediately told me Kate was something else. As if I did not know already ;). This already became clear to me when Breathing was released before Never For Ever saw the light of day, but with The Dreaming she went beyond anything thought possible! I always thought this was and would remain an odd one in her collection. It stood so much on its own. Hounds Of love, its follow up took distance from The Dreaming as it was so much more 'commercial' and approachable. It wasn't until Aerial was released, I noticed some similarities, especially within the titletrack. This directly brought me back to The Dreaming and then it finally fell in place with me. I noticed how The Dreaming had its influence on all of her later work. It really proved to be a benchmark. Do you realize that Kate is so much more admired on KZbin than she did a few years ago? Three years ago I started watching reaction videos. There was not one to her videos back then. This has changed dramatically. I love it! So there will be a few more interested, I can tell you! 😉👍👍👍

You are spot on in my opinion..... The brodcaster NRK are fantastic at what they do..... This is a HUGE team effort; to make versions of the songs to "fit" and everything..... This concert should be classified as a National treshure..... The sick and sad part is that Aurora is not big in Norway.... It is very "un-Norwegian" to be uniq and "strange" as Aurora... I am sad to say I did not like her myself. When covid hit I got tired of tv series and figured that I would explore Norwegian music, and at the same time support the artists. I started with Sigrid, and then Aurora.... And when I REALLY listend and watched her: I fell in love with her ART .... Yes, it is more than the music.... It is art....

You are 100 percent correct. It's art...not just music.

That is just not true - now I feel you are talking down the Norwegian people - hello, we have a lot of unique artists .. slutt å snakk tøv..

Love the natural reverb in an old European cathedral! You should hear it. Her delivery reminds me a little of Delores O'Riordon from the Cranberries. Tonally very similar.

I know you've been to a few. What an amazing reverb!

You should check out her singing "Nature Boy" acapella with no mic in St. Michaelis Kirche 👍 (only mobile phone footage, unfortunately)

OK I feel like I've missed out. This performance was in my home town, not 5 minutes from where I work. I've actually performed there many years ago with a student choir. I also want to just run this by everyone: This is frikkin live. With a choir. And strings. And a church organ. A CHURCH ORGAN!!! When have church organs EVER played on time??? You kinda hear it in the beginning where it's only Aurora and the organ. The recording quality is incredible, yes, but if I'm being picky (even though the balance is great) I feel the choir should have more space. There's a lot of emotion there that I'm trying to pick out, where I shouldn't have to, you know? It's a beautiful performance, in a beautiful church.

This is LIVE...Man, I'm happy if I don't hear chairs squeaking! 😄😄😄

@@StrateleStudios Chairs don't squeak when angels sing! Seriously though, not a believer, just saying when Aurora brings the magic we all stop and listen. I can't count the hours I've spent with her whispering into my ear, but I can say that not a single second was wasted!

That reaction video made my day... I think we both are the same generation and have seen enough in this world so at the end we've lost our believe in Elfs and Fairys...but then...from wherever she came...hard to believe... All i will forever ask you my friend is to do another reaction of this girl: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXKnhoR_ec-WbtU appreciate your work. Sorry---english is not my native language...

Your English is perfect. This comment is so right on. You are so right my friend, the Elves and Fairies no long inhabit my mind...then comes Aurora. A much needed fountain of magic pours out of her. It makes me so happy to hear this video made you're day. This is why I do it. I'll check out your link!

I stand by on this suggest. For me Lucky have her best performance but the Animal soul strikes lyrical hardest and for me this is her best song. Because of my depression i can't hear it everyday.
