I have to agree (with a few months shy of 50 years myself!) with you. This young lady is a phenomenal artist. Regardless of genre, something is either well done, or not…my listening is predominantly opera and the great ladies of “jazz” (Sarah Vaughan, Billie, Ella and Nina especially)….admittedly, there are fewer artists that grab me to the same extent, outside of those genres….but Aurora had my heart from the very first hearing…she is so utterly connected…so completely honest and instinctive…a very great talent.

Since this concert was presented on Norwegian (Public?) Aurora has something else that even touch the Breath inside our breath. The picture and sound engineers of NRK are marvelous. You will see and hear the same quality in the Nobel Price consert and the peformence called HAIK in the norwegian wood. Videos made by NRK is seldom copyrighted.

At the end of the song when she tilts her head to the side she looks like a porcelain doll. This song brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it. And the back up choir add a depth and richness to her performance. She said in an interview that she loves Leonard Cohen's work and that she finds male vocals paired with a female voice very pleasing to the ear.

AURoRA wrote this in a period in her life when the world seemed so dark and crazy, and she was so sad about what she saw. So she wrote this song to prosess what she went through emotionally. How she wanted to see the world through the lense of a child..... Hauntingly beautiful 🌹🌹🌹

when you get to the Haik concert I would strongly recommend that you start with the documentary that goes before the concert. Haik means hitchhike. The concept is that the host pick up the artist in the hosts van. The artist does not know anything about what the day will bring except that it ends with a concert at an unknown location. I know, it is unusual to react to a documentary (not really a documentary as the format is unusual) but I guarantee you will not regret it!

She is just a normal girl in som ways, in other ways she is not from this planet..... The entire concert are fantastic, so you can not pick a bad one... I prefere Murder Song and Runaway at the Nobel Peace Prize consert, but the rest..... mindblowing! The Haik concert are also fantastic, deep inside the woods where she played as a child! Bothe these are video/sound by NRK, the Norwegian "state" brodcaster... I will say they are world leading in quality, mix that with Aurora and the result is magic.

This concert is frum 2917, I had strted listening and following Aurora the previous year, well, I've listened to this song, this particular version more than a thousand times, I'm sure, and every time its like the first time listening, and it still draws a tear she is so absolutely talented and unique......man I'm a 69year old musician granpa, heard and seen a lot, good, not so good and a bunch of unmentionables ahd she's different no tags no labels, straight forward authentic beautiful young lady, an exceptional human being yes that's Aurora our Viking Fairy Queen Her new album is coming out tomorrow and that is certainly gonna be a masterpiece, a true jewel My trip started in 2016, and she's been with me ever since, she's my daily soundtrack, i can't do anything without music and she's the Best and there's an evergrowing global crowd whose lives have been affected by her touch, she's a healer......check her out bro, she's made tons of music, studio live, her music covers vids, interviews documentaries, and all is out there for grabs, this lady is serious, she ain't playing and has something to say and says it, and she is backing every word she says a voice of our times...trust me....check her out

So glad every time someone take the time to listen to my soulhealer and that you said about quality is so "on point" I am a heavymetal oldie and rockbear. and that is a fact that there are many of us who love this thiny viking and i think it is very much about quality and pureness. Hardrock is also about that. She have such a catalog in greatness and for her biggest treasure is the emotions, that one stands out.. Please do a reaction to her song Lucky in Nidarosdomen. So glad to hear you giving props to the great people working on this gem. 👍🏻 I would like to say something about the lighting designer at this concert. Her name is Silje Grimstad. She is also Norwegian and lives in Bergen. A little rare with a lady behind these levers. 🤔She is a good friend of Aurora and, in addition to lighting control, has also been the tourleader on several of the tours at the beginning of Aurora's career. Shortly after this concert, Silje received an artist scholarship from Bergen municipality. She has excelled several times, including now during the pandemic, she created again with Aurora when they held a virtual concert in a hall full of mannequins in Bergen. Also a concert well worth watching. Aurora has a lot of good technicians with her here in Norway and we are very proud of the beautiful experiences they create together. Watch the Nidaros concert and notice the lighting. Silje creates incredibly beautiful moods and I think it is an important part of how this concert hits the youtube audience so strongly. I hope Aurora and also the people around her never let go of the imaginative, creative and yes childlike .. we can, and will, follow our own path. 🙏🏻Greetings from a slightly older Norwegian warrior (Aurora fan) and thank you 🤗I hope to see you react to more from her 😉

aurora is delicate, deep, sweet, very expressive, emotional and performative and adorable. Despite the different style of music, her style reminds me of Kate Bush in her early career. In fact, the two approached the same theme and made two beautiful songs about "seeing the world through the eyes of a child". Kate Bush with: The man whit child in hisc eyes, and Aurora with: Throught eyes of a child. They are truly two wonderful divas.

As you so obviously enjoy the wonderful music of Aurora I think another artist you would be amazed by is Faroese singer Eivor Palsdottir. Like Aurora she is a tremendous song writer and performer and like Aurora is also known for doing outstanding covers. Her cover of the Kate Bush song Hounds of Love is worth a search for!

I cannot get into this concert, just to be honest. Of course that doesn't matter and it's still beautiful. However, her VEVO live video is absolutely breath taking but I don't know all the logistics going into covering a vevo video... you can just watch it on your own if you are interested!
