I never heard of Igor Stravinsky's piano pieces. He is mostly famous for his "Rites of Spring" and "The Firebird Ballet". Thank you so much for uploading! I really like these pieces!

Man, I wish I didn't know about them and could hear them for the first time again! But, don't worry, they're still awesome after the fifteen millionth listen...

Well, I must say after listening all the way through this cycle, Emanuele has done a magnificent job of bringing forth Stravinsky’s pianistic artistry. I particularly appreciate the restraint in the forte sections. Also, the clarity of voicings are first rate.

@@aramzulumyan6380 There is no doubt he was a brilliant composer, but for me too modern. I prefer other russian composers, such as Rachmaninov and Shostakovich. And Chaikovsky of course.

The good thing about Stravinsky is that his music is very colorful and varied, approaching different styles, no piece is going to sound like the other, he was always experimental, you should try his neo-classical pieces, there are a bit more conservative but with his own touch, but I like that you mention Tchaikovsky, and Rachmaninoff is still one of my very favorites, I would add Prokofiev and Khachaturiam (I know he was no russian but armeinan, but he was a soviet citizen after all), Russia has many great composer. Fun fact: Stravinsky came to my country Venezuela two times in the 50s, there are some photos and even footage of him conducting, funny thing is that he said numbers in spanish but spoke to the musicians in english.
