Love it! Rainbow Brite and Strawberry Shortcake were my biggest loves as a kid. Had the bedsheets, nightgown, lamp, everything I could find. XD Sadly didn't get all of the dolls or even half of the playsets.

Wow i remember having strawberry shortcake as a child and the strawberry little house with a few other dolls. i have a couple miniatures and the carry case.i ever had that same lunch box.too bad they were all stolen along with my vintage childhood clothes and other toys :(.my mom did save all my toys but sadly they got stolen several years ago. oh thank God i have all my cabbage patch dolls those were my favorite! you're doggy is adorable and looks so sweet!

My dog is usually wild and crazy, but he was surprisingly calm when I was filming this video. He turns 3 this month, and I think he's finally growing out of the puppy phase, ha ha!

I remember my mom got me a Strawberry Shortcake dress when I was 4 yrs old in the early 2000s. She bought me a plushie, books, notebooks, pens, erasers, etc. She loves Rainbow Bright, Strawberry Shortcake, and Pepe Longstockings. 😅 She made me dress like them

In 1982, I would have been 17 so I'm not very familiar with Strawberry Shortcake. I remember it through commercials though. It's great how your mom saved your things. It must be great fun seeing your things from long ago. 💖

You really are a lucky one, my first toy was a glow worm, remember those! I lost all my childhood thing's due to being homeless as a child. And I lost all my teen thing's due to moving so much but at least I have my memories. ❤ So God is good.

Thanks so much! My mom was wise to save my old lunchboxes. Yes, I'm pretty sure I had a game and some other things, like Colorforms, etc. Our daughter also grew up loving SS in the early 2000's, and she had a really fun board game as well.

Ok, Strawberry shortcake was my absolute favorite toy when I was a kid!! I didn’t have all the dolls though. I had ssc, hucklebery pie, raspberry tart, purple pieman and sour grapes. I had a ton of those little pvc figured. I had a lot of strawberry shortcake nightgowns and I also had a pair of blueberry muffin pajamas. My favorite character is blueberry muffin, although I never had her when I was a kid. I had a strawberry shortcake bike with a banana seat and training wheels. I still have it. It was my first bike I learned to ride. Now, today, I have an explosive vintage strawberry shortcake collection. I have at least one doll of every character and their pets. The berry happy home, a carriage, the blow kiss dolls, games, books, you name it, I probably have it. I will have to make a video of my collection now!! I think I may have already posted one. I’m not sure. I have to check. I’ll send you a link if I did. What one was your favorite smell? Mine was purple pieman. He smelled so good, I wanted to eat him. 😂

I never had that one, but I had gotten my Smaller Homes dollhouse around the same time, so that's probably why I didn't ask for it for Christmas. And the blow kiss dolls, they smell rancid when you squeeze their stomach for a kiss. Their breath smells like rotten pepperoni. 🤮 I’ll definitely make a new video soon if I can’t find my old one.

Thanks Bernhard! Yes, I totally remember the Masters of the Universe! My cousin was super into those, and he got a Grayskull Castle for Christmas when I was getting all those Strawberry Shortcake dolls, lol! I'm pretty sure we combined our toys, and the strawberry friends visited the castle that holiday. My cousin was 4 years younger than me, so I was always willing to play with his "boy stuff" to keep him entertained. Next time I talk to him, I'll have to ask him if he still has all his He-Man toys.

Living in the UK in the 80s, it wasn't easy to find all the Strawberry Shortcake toys and such. But we lived near a USAF air base and my mum's friend was from Arkansas, so long story short my SS collection was built. Cute Strawberry Shortcake lunch box. I almost got one but I opted for E.T. instead. You wouldnt believe i was just watching this video of a young woman opening a barbie dream house she bought for $6,000. Same one i had as a kid. I used to throw barbie off the top banister. Then ken would rescue her and carry her back up in his arms. Ill never forget how on Christmas it took like 4 adults to put it together. I had this 80s barbie pool too. It had a shower on the back of it that pumped water. That was my favorite toy. Anyway i was looking online hoping to find the one and only cabbage patch kid i had. Too bad, you cant find it since they were all unique. I did see a cabbage patch seat and crib though. That brought back memories.

Oh my goodness!! It's crazy how much some of our old toys have increased it value. $6,000 DANG!! We definitely wish we had kept some of our other toys, especially Keith's original Star Wars action figures. Have you seen the prices on those lately?!

@@Our80sLife no, I haven't. My friend here is the star wars fan too. I saw some barbie dream houses on ebay for a couple hundred I think. She must have got it brand new. To think that a young woman who has no memory attached to it, would spend 6 grand on it. Goes to show that to some people, 6 grand isn't much. Anyway, I only wanted a few little things to remind me of what my mother got me. Strawberry shortcake. E.T. was big hit for me. A cabbage patch preemie with a beige tuft and everything included. I'll never forget that christmas because I found the stash beforehand. I was pretty darn excited. Ill never forget year prior they were hundreds of dollars. This woman bought herself one. And let me "borrow it" for a week. Saying i had to give it back, lol. But she was nice though. At least I have just one toy from my childhood. It's an E T watch. It's finger lit up and played the theme. Well it's on my dresser. Still has the added holes punched to fit my 7 yr old wrist. (Which you cant buy on ebay) Another memory is of this little 80s doll house by Matell. It was called the Littles. Well I'm mad at Ebay because everything gets bid and sold when I'm not looking. Plus, some people are charging as much for shipping. No thanks. I may just get one little doll in a box. Just to hang on a memory. I spend too much time in the past anyway. I could use a house of my own! In 2024! Anyway, congrats on the my little pony for three bucks. Toys really do make for a great childhood memory. Though as an 80s child, not always. Because we actually played outdoors or did other things. Made our own toys. Climbed trees and things.

Thanks Brian! Yes, I enjoyed the cartoon but for some reason I never got into My Little Pony. It's funny how we're drawn to certain characters and not others. I also loved the Smurfs!

@@Our80sLife yeah that is funny man i love smurfs.This funny a lot my friends use like Power Rangers but I never did I more liked Teenage Mutant Turtles and I was in Stars Wars,Spiderman,Batman,He-Man,Thundercats,Buck Rogers and even though I'm straight guy I use love watching the Carebears to I don't know what happened to it but I use have Care bear doll back then......lol

@@Our80sLife oh another thing I'm still big fan until this is Garfield and Peanuts snoopy is my favorite but I actually like any thing is from Charles Shultz and I'm a big Dr.Seuss fan i still watch a lot of cartoons I grew up with even though I'm grown and adult and I'm big Disney fan I like all older stuff and shows from the 80's and 90's....lol
