@@susannesteinbock1639 I’m not really a cat person, but I seem to have acquired four feral cats that I started to feed and now they seem to have just stayed 😂 Along with the six dogs I already have. They aren’t good bed fellows. But what I meant with my original comment was, we, as human beings could learn so much from dogs about true devotion and love and the ability to come back from adversity. Dogs are wonderful at doing that.

I lost my Golden years ago due to old age and I've been heart broken. I live alone and miss my friend. At 67, I'm too old to get another dog. It wouldn't be fair to the dog. We used to go for long walks out in the thousands of acres of woods behind the house. Funny how he'd run ahead of me while we were heading out and he always lagged behind as we were heading back. He didn't want to head back to the house. He just wanted to keep running through the woods...

He must not be misstreated, but stray dogs normally don´t trust people. And so the best way to gain the trust of a dog is a pack.. And she did it this way.

Oohh I love this beautiful woman. She has kind heart. I love the fact that she has already given him name even though he had never allowed her touching him. Poor baby. It's so heart breaking to see how scared he was. I don't wanna imagine what he went through before that. You could see the fear in Jake's eyes and you could hear the fear in his hollow-sounding bark. He was definitely afraid, but he was not a truly aggressive case. This woman (sorry, I couldn't find her name) showed great intelligence when she utilized her own dogs to try to further communicate to Jake that she could be trusted and meant him well! ❤ Great job!!! 🙂
