Nice panel. I am hearing that the GA Supreme Court can’t wait to get this. Whichever way it gets there is the only question as it appears there is many avenue’s. Fulton County has embarrassed the State of Georgia. Supreme Court Judges get to save the day and the state from further odors of mendacity!

Atlanta is just so corrupt it's really disturbing thank the Lord I live in Greenville, SC and I just pray their seeing what corruption does to these communities. Good work to these attorneys for doing some justice to their clients!

Entire State of Georgia looks like a bad joke due to this? Bottom line? Fulton Co. DA's / ADA's / & _Less Than Honorable_ judge G. needs 2B un-barred period? If no? What then is purpose of even having a Bar establishment? Recusal moot point anymore - forget that.

Yes... I find those two other writs of mandamus that were filed in Fulton County interesting. I suppose civil asset forfeiture is just a tangent to this case but I find it interesting... especially if the DA's office is taking aim at people with money to seize it. 😮

I will say I never really thought about defense attorneys. The trials lately make me think highly of them. They are the “good” version of a lawyer.

Imagine how much the prosecutors and the judge would get away with if none of these defendants had the resources to hire the best attorneys or the notoriety to draw the attention of the media... Its clear that the DA office is used to prosecuting people not capable of affording the best defense....

Love was equally as guilty as the judge for the ex-parte meeting and she wants input on the untried defense attorney's sentence? That's a whole lot of impropriety. Fulton County needs consequences for their lawlessness.

Fulton county Georgia justice system is couropt. Birds of a feather flock together. Georgia's entire justice system is all about feeding the jail system. They must be highly interested in stocks..

Doug's comment is huge, the fact that a judge has no qualms about putting someone in jail, must have never even spent so much as a day in jail, much less months or years, and cant appreciate the effect that has on any person, whether they are recidivists or not. Maybe Glanville or Love could spend some time in there and learn something. Just look at how much effort Woody puts in doing whatever he can to stay out of jail. The people that enjoy be in prison are probably insane

Phil I’m happy you’re covering this, your doing a great job. BUT could you please be mindful of cutting off your panelists (specifically Kaufman) there was several times Doug tried to bring in Rachel and you cut her off. It seems like you have your notes and trying to stick to them to get everything in BUT maybe allow her to complete her commentary. It’s ok to “let them get ahead of yourself” you can tie it back. With all that being said I do enjoy your show

Where else but Fulton County, where ballot counting stopped due to flooding due to a massive pipe bust, or maybe that didn't happen, maybe a toilet overflowed, maybe. Anyway watching Little Woody testify is more entertaining then anything Jerry Springer ever did. Great show Phil! Love it and am learning !! Is Fulton County actually in the United States? crazy.

I watched parts of a livestream Kayla Bumpus did, and came away with a strong impression that she's very unprofessional and never someone I would hire, especially as a defense attorney. I'm glad she was part of exposing this information (though apparently, she wasn't the initial source). However, she demonstrates a significant lack of competence, professionalism, and ethics. Perhaps that's why it's no surprise she used to work for the Fulton DA's office.

Probate court is all about whatever the judges feelings are and they often act egregiously toward any defendant who challenges them, public defenders wont question them because theyre wanting to gain a prosecutors job and eventually the judges job

It seems like everyone including the defense attorneys keep overlooking what the judge said the day that they took Copeland into custody… He said, we’ll bring Mr. Copeland back Monday before we bring him in front of the jury to see what he wants to do. He’d already called the meeting right there.

The anticipation was that he’d be brought back and questioned in open court, outside the presence of the jury

So as a 3L I try not to criticize attorneys and judges because I'm gonna pretty much suck until I get better when I enter the profession in 2025. That stated, I found Glanville and Bumpus both horribly unprofessional and they aren't anything I'm aspiring to be.
