Great video overall. However, I take issue with the quick-release plate blocking removal of the battery. I have found that if you simply slide the quick-release plate along a bit until it clears the battery compartment before locking it up - all is well.

I have to say, great video...but hilarious that you mentioned that you have clients that want the appearance of a larger camera for show/ego then have a clip of Ben Shapiro and Sebastian Gorka on the monitor at 6:51...Makes PERFECT sense now.

Hi mark, I'm new to your channel and your review was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING so liked the video and and subscribed but I have one question about the canon xa40 I've heard the aperture can go up to f16.0 but I've only seen it go up to f8.0 PLEASE help me I'm very confused and thanks for doing this video it was really helpful

Did you film from an iPhone 4, your video recording sucks, considering that you are reviewing a camcorder.
