It's fine for the mission it was intended for. You turn it on the light up the target. Then...you light them up. Keeping a light on constantly just makes you a damn target. You probably won't even use it for a straight 2 minutes; let alone 20.

Ken Hackathorn …the fudd final boss
@brandonschwertley27239 ай бұрын
I remember every time some fudd came in wanting a laser on his carry G43/42 we would point them in the direction of this. It was a good unit, affordable, reasonably effective, durable but kind of a pain to setup. Having to unthread three long small allen bolts, then thread them back in, the get a rough zero on the laser took a while. It was always when we were busy too.

The TLR-6 is an awesome WML when you carry a G26 and don't live in fear that you need a weapon light that can defeat the photonic barrier of a nuclear blast on your carry gun lest be you be kilt in da streetz. I hardly even care for WMLs on carry guns as is, if I really need more light I've got a 500 lumen handheld I use for work.

For rifle lights I love a 18650 than I can also use 2 cr123a if needed. Didn't hear about this HL model might get one

That G43 was my second ever handgun. Never could hit the broad side of a barn with it. Put it in the safe until the PSA micro dagger slides came out…now I can knock down targets 40 yards consistently with it. Of course the numerous shooting classes in between those times probably helped but the optic on top makes it pretty nice to shoot now. No weapon light on it but I think 300 lumens is fine for a self defense gun. After all if they are more than 30 yards away and in the dark I’m probably going to just turn tail and run…errrr I mean egress the area.

Have you tried the Glock 43 Shield Arms mags???
@chrisseger23469 ай бұрын
They can cause feeding issues. I owned mine for almost a year before I had any problems, so your mileage may vary. The issue is with how the Shield Arms magazines seat into the gun. There's a little too much play in the magwell, which causes the mags to sit too far back. This causes the slide to sometimes partially or completely fail to load the next round.

TLR7 > TLR6. Even tho my TLR 7 sub hangs way past the end of my P365X
@michaelturk72379 ай бұрын
Can confirm that the Sub and Flex 7s are G2G. Side note: the Flex is a pain in the ASS to install due to a screw clip that is tinier than your pinky nail but absolutely essential if you don't want to launch your light within the first magazine. Be sure to install it on the (barely noticeable) flat part of the cross screw. Use a jeweler's/glasses repair kit screwdriver or a pair of small needlenose pliers to press it in place.
