@thepop7989 apologies, when I google the question "tekken 8 units sold" it does say 57 million, but upon further investigation that is for the whole tekken series. What we do know is that in the first few weeks, Tekken 8 sold 2 million copies, but they havent come out with where they're at now since release

Street Fighter 6 has sold over 4 Million copies in 2024. It was just announced in 2024 this year. Tekken 8 probably sold 2 Million copies I'm guessing.

As a new player i think there should be mode with less combos/options - basically vanilla - and I hope it would be equally competitive and popular? This shit is so complex it will take me ages to reach comfort level.

Nice video but I'm kinda confused you didn't cover a lot of other factors for each game: Street Fighter 6 Controversies: The Drive System was pretty divisive for a time when people couldn't adjust to Drive Rush and Perfect Parries. Perfect Parries are still controversial for certain high level players. And the game didn't have balance patches for a whole year which frustrated a great deal of tournament players and spectators. I think there still might be people irritated in some instances where Drive Rush can eat inputs in certain instances. On a more casual front, costume prices were criticized for being too high when you recall the reaction to the TMNT costume crossover alongside the alt costume bundles costing $100 w/ no bundle option. Also the crossovers not actually having certain characters involved but only costumes made a lot of people sour too. It's only when SNK showed up in Season 2 did we finally see Street Fighter have an official external character crossover. Tekken 8 Controversies: Tekken 8 stepped in more controversies when they added a cosmetic shop and microtransactions a month after release and post reviews which pissed people off. Street fighter actually let people know beforehand while Tekken didn't. They also started striking down mod channels when they added legacy costumes which is something Street Fighter never did. They also had plenty of patches and updates that actively broke the game and made things worse in several instances like trying to mitigate the balancing of certain moves on Azucena and other characters and messing up several stage interaction instances and one really weird bug with King. More recently the addition of Heihachi Mishima led to mixed reactions of some players and a lot of competitors happy to see Heihachi's return while others were annoyed that the story was reversing an actually compelling decision and consequence. Though others were also vexed with the story's handling of Jin considering his actions in Tekken 6.

Sf6 is a master piece , tekken 8 is good and has some good improvements BUT basic things like the font text style and MAINLY THE COLOURS are not good why is it a pinky colour instead of red? Makes the whole game feel/look different in a bad way it just ew? And the battle hub area for tekken 8 why is it roblox characters? Why not let use use a normal human like jin or someone? Or let us make our own custom avatar like sf6 has? Or something? These little things affect the game massively even the pinky colour , for this i have to say sf6 is way better than t8 this time round but t8 is still amazing , i hope next season when sf7 / t9 releases t9 fixes their game and improve the coloure and use red NOT PINK and add avatar system etc - sf6 world tour custom avatar etc its a master piece honestly the way sf6 is feels super unique im surprised its not as popular , t8 has too Many flaws its like its JUST ABOUT a tekken game even the customisation is terrible in t8 t7 was better! T8 i feel people only play and have forced themselves to like its like cod mw2 2022 vibes the games kinda good but they ruined it by such basic things!!!!!! Because its the newest one and its still not that bad the community play it etc and enjoy it its still okay BUT CMON MAN I EXPECTED BETTER!!!! I was always more of a SF player up until recently. Been Master Rank since last year but SF6 is just about crouching mediums drive cancel into combos. Guessing on meaty or tbrows throws until you inevitably end up in the corner then guessing for your life. Also knockdown into drive rush (oki) is a guessing game in itself. I know there is parry and drive reversal but the fact still remains. SF6 went full Unga honestly

Tekken la franquicia no tiene comparacion con Street Fighter, tekken es un juego en 3D y SF es en 2D y aunque hay uno o dos juegos de SF en 3D no tiene comparacion el unico merito que tiene SF es que el el primer juego de pelea que salio esito seria pero despues Tekken es el mejor juego de peleas en 3D que existe no hay hasta la fecha alguno que se le compare ninguno.
