is there a reason why you dont see keeper-jin used as much as daipan loop in matches? is the damage drop off that big?

On crouching opponents, the damage difference is very significant. Daipan loop all the way. On standing, keeper jin still does less than daipan loop. That's why you'll see a lot of players go for a partial keeper jin into reset or partial daipan into reset on standing opponents.

@@phil4863 It's because of the risk-reward. There's no guarantee you'll get a good punish off of parrying Yun during this. The safest thing to do is block as much as you can and pray they don't open you up. This is the equivalent of fighting a bear with a knife in your hand. Yeah, you've got a knife but do you really wanna go poking the bear? Better to just run if possible or curl into a ball hoping it'll leave you alone haha.
