LEGEND (The moves are done with the character facing right. If the character is facing left, they are done in reverse):
1. Movement Directions
↖ - upback
(Jumping Back)
↑ - up
(Jumping Upwards)
↗ - upforward
(Jumping Forward)
← - back
(Walking Back)
N - neutral
(Standing)
→ - forward
(Walking Forward)
↙ - downback
(Crouching Back*)
↓ - down
(Crouching)
↘ - downforward
(Crouching Forward*)
- there is no particular animation.
READ: If the Jump Forward or Jump Back attacks of a character have the same animation as the simple straight up Jump, they won't be listed in the character's Move List.
2. Attacks
LP - (Light Punch) * also named (Weak Punch)
MP - (Medium Punch) * also named (Strong Punch)
HP - (Heavy Punch) * also named (Fierce Punch)
LK - (Light Kick) * also named (Short Kick)
MK - (Medium Kick) * also named (Forward Kick)
HK - (Heavy Kick) * also named (Roundhouse Kick)
P - Any Punch Button
K - Any Kick Button
PP - Any two Punch Buttons (pressed at the same time)
KK - Any two Kick Buttons (pressed at the same time)
PPP - All Punch Buttons (pressed at the same time)
KKK - All Kick Buttons (pressed at the same time)
3. Motions
READ: For Special Moves to work you must do the motion first then press the last movement direction plus the attack button at the same time. Example - Hadouken: do this first (↓ ↘) then press at the same time → + P. The same goes for all Special Moves, EX Moves or Super Arts.
4. Misc
Each character's main Kara Throw: (~ means press almost instantly)
Akuma - → + MP~(LP+LK)
Alex - → + HP~(LP+LK)
Chun Li - MK~(LP+LK)
Dudley - → + MP~(LP+LK)
Elena - → + MK~(LP+LK)
Hugo - MK~(LP+LK)
Ibuki - MP~(LP+LK)
Ken - ← + MK~(LP+LK)
Makoto - → + MP~(LP+LK)
Necro - MP~(LP+LK)
Oro - HK~(LP+LK)
Q - ← + MP~(LP+LK)

It should be mentioned that certain attacks that hit in very fast succession doesn't require a parry for each hit. For instance if you parry Twelve's X.NDL up close, your character might shuffle and parry the rest of the super art depending on how close you are and the size of your parry box.

You take more damage when crouching. Some moves even recover in the crouch position. Example: Sean whiffed / blocked tackle / SAIII / tatsu

hey man !! great vid, do you perhaps have vids that explain spacing, poking and zoning and the use of normal's and how to use them effectively and how to be effective when the game is going in to a neutral state which is where the spacing and normal's play a big part until you create a setup for rush-downs to take place and lastly thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Any two Punch or Kick buttons at the same time guys, make sure you have Super Art gauge filled up.

Press forward again and time the second hit. Usually, it's much easier.

And L1 and L2 are PPP and KKK respectively, if it's Super Street Fighter IV we're talking about...Try switching LP to L1 and LK to R1 and MP to L2 and MK to R2, it's what I'd do. I'd also set X to PPP, Square HP, Triangle HK and Circle KKK.
