The solar plexus would be the chest area, having this person in front of you, deprives you from hitting the chest, but rather the head with that educated hook. He has number of videos that teaches how to hit in this fashion.

@@lxramirez9788 Doesn't make sense what you're saying. He literally has to move his fist past the chest area to strike the head. If you can't perform a quick unblockable body blow from that position, you don't know how to fight.

Neither let them get within arms reach as Chael Sonen said. I'd prefer to create some distance thenif he tries to invade my personal space be ready for the shot, step back and counter forwards again with a 1-2. That's how i personally do it. It's called poendulum boxing the step back and counter with a 1-2 impulsing oneself forwards again is widely used by russian boxers in the amateurs.
