+Joker Prince Bro, just reading your comments I can feel the hype for Street Fighter overflow. If Capcom was able to give Asura a Street Fighter treatment in the Lost Episodes, they can make him a in-game guest for Street Fighter V. I have been waiting for Joey Ansah's Street Fighter: World Warriors. I have Assassin's Fist on disc and watch it every now and then. Nash's v-skill is not the only one that builds meter. Ryu's parry definitely builds meter, as shown in this video, as does Chun's when she hits the opponent with it. It seems like V-skills all build V-meter as long as they do not whiff.

Just for note, all V-Skills boost the V-Gauge, Charlie's V skill builds super meter...I think, that's how most reports are saying it.

I'm......actually hyped for this game! I just didn't like Street Fighter 4 at all, couldn't get into it, but this reminds me greatly of 3 and the Alpha games which were the only SF games I really got into. Mark Owen Are you kidding? The mechanics they showed so far already make this game play entirely different. There is no ultra-meter, the critical art uses the EX meter (like a super) so it is not just about waiting for it to fill up and doing 50% with a buttonpress. you actually have to manage that resource because it is the same you use for your EX moves. normals do damage now, so it is nowhere near as defensive as 4. no more focus attacks, meaning no more focus cancels either. instead you have V-cancels which also activate unique characteristics which makes characters differ more than before. maybe shotos will actually play differently now. and then there are the counters...This game will play fundamentally different.

Why do people continue to block with RYU when the opponent jumps in? His DP is meant to be used as an invincible, precision Anti-Air. USE IT PEOPLE! (F, D, DF + P) just in case you scrubs have forgotten! Every time you allow your opponent to jump in and mash buttons with RYU, a kitten dies.
