WOW! You picked the perfect day to visit! With all those decorations up! Really great! What a place! And the FOOD! Never seen deep fried Papaya before! The Gang (soup ) looks SOooo good too! I love Thai Yai food! I've had the beans and banana many times but not that Papaya. We've got the kind of Banana they like to make the soup with, we let our neighbors come in and cut a few down, now and then. LOVE Mea Hong Son but have never been to this place. It is on the top of the list, next time we make it! Thanks!

Mark, yet another first class video that leaves me yearning to visit Thailand but well away from the usual tourist hotspots. I always try to visit the 'local' areas where you can appreciate the true nature and spirit of the country. By the way my Friend you are becoming rather expensive as I have just ordered a box of Wagyu steaks! Jim N.

Let us hope we can have an Ukrainian street food tour with Mark. We only need a bit of peace.
@adriennefloreen2 жыл бұрын
Well if he does that I recommend that the guy who hablos espanyol and Thai learns a bit of Ukrainian, when he went to Russia he only knew one word in Russian and it was "Soup" which is pronounced the same in Russian as in English and bemoaned the fact that nobody in the soup shop knew English so they didn't even understand when he said "thank you" in English because he couldn't say it in Russian (spice-eeba, everyone, sorry I can write no foreign characters on KZbin even an enyey) so in the time it took to fly there on a plane he didn't learn a word. Thai's a gazillion times harder to learn than Russian which is about as easy to learn as Spanish... Google is also a great resource it can show you how to say anything or what anything means in another language, and also the correct scientific species names for plants and how to pronounce them.

If you are hoping I'll identify the plant you think you ate in this video, please spell out what you said in English and Thai because I cannot even make out what you are saying. And Thai, is most likely going to be the last language I ever learn because I cannot decipher their writing system even though I've studied languages written in Cyrillic, the Arabic script, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. Since you speak Thai, please type in Thai whatever you said and type in English whatever you said it was called when you said it in English.
