Good mate Good to see you have a new van , I are looking for a van that can help me out with various things. I enjoy scrapping but I enjoy going fishing and at this time of year instead of sleeping in a tent. I would prefer to have a bit more security from the weather . $15000 was such a bargain. For a working radio, I see it'a a standard rack one, just go to an used car lot, I'm sure they will mount you a working radio for 30$.

You should use a tracking app on you phone. Shows you which streets you've been down etc. Really saves time

The microwave makes a great catch bin for all the screws and small pieces of steel from sraping out electronics. Just pick it up and load and unload.

Wow, that sounds like a recipe for disaster. In the UK, our vehicles have to have an annual roadworthyness check called an MOT. It helps keep dangerous cars off the road.

@@eWasteBen You are a nice honest guy Ben which is why I watch your videos, unfortunately not everyone out there is as honest as you. Please check that the guy is who he says he is, lives at the address he says he does, that he owns the van, that it has no outstanding finance, that it has not been in an accident or written off at some point, that the chassis and engine number match the docs, that it has a service record for cambelt and regular oil changes. A road worthy test just means it is safe to drive it does not cover whether the engine, clutch, gearbox etc are all good. You are spending a lot of hard earned money, a lot of graft went into earning that, please spend a little more and get the van checked over by a professional. Something just sounds a little off, especially the drop in price. Dropping the price from £17k to $16k would not suddenly produce all those phone calls and interest Just be careful, would really not want to see you get ripped off.

Scrappers pass up so much steel hunting for cords. It just doesn't make sense. The marginal cost of picking up the steel is so low, you've driven all that way anyway. They'll pass up dollars of steel looking for pennies of copper and brass.

I worry about you not knowing where the guy lives where the new van comes from. He might take your deposit and run! Sorry to look on the bad side but I was robbed by a guy who was selling a computer and It put me off those kinds of deals. Hope it works out for you.
