Aesthetically I actually really love this track. The trees, bridges, shade, buildings and general claustrophobia is really cool looking to me, like Baku but a little tighter. The track itself seems pretty mid. Question: With how often Formula E has come up in this series, I am going to assume you follow it. Do you have any thoughts or predictions regarding the current championship battle or other goings-ons, any favorite Formula E tracks, drivers or teams?

There is a lot of Formula E tracks because they ran mostly on street circuits so it is more likely to come up in this series

@@neaulllannper my count, through 10 seasons the only permanent tracks they’ve ever raced at are: Mexico City, Puebla, Valencia, and Portland. They’ve also raced on existing street tracks at Monaco, Long Beach, and Marrakesh. The race at Portland was the first time they used the full length of a purpose built circuit, and it was an awesome race, part of me hopes they ditch street circuits and go to real tracks. Brands Hatch Indy would be great IMO.

This track was great. With a little modification to get rid of the 90 degrees corners and find wider streets, it could very easily be a Gen3 host. The long start-finish straight was something to behold and you just know the Gen3 cars would thrive there. They just have to flatten some surfaces and get rid of bumps and the occasional rogue manholes. Or at least cover them for race weekends. I'm looking at you, Rome!

As a half Swiss, it's really sad that Formula E failed in Switzerland, but I understand why it was like that. Zurich was a meh track and Bern was stunning although too chaotic and dangerous. But even as a half Swiss, I missed the Zurich ePrix and watched Bern on a tiny phone with extremely slow internet. I just wish FE would return to Switzerland one day, even though that's super unlikely or impossible at this point. My other nationality is Filipino, so I obviously hope that FE can race in the Philippines one day.

10k is a good start, innit. Q&A question actually somewhat ties into this series, there are a few tracks I've never seen until this series which speaks to a wider issue. What are your thoughts on the seeming lack of decent documentation that is easily found and accessed on many Motorsport series and topics (Some of which are series that are actually somewhat popular or were at one time), as there are even some F1 tracks that the wiki page is barely anything but a stub, with said wiki being about the most documentation on it. As a fan of Baja/Desert Racing and Rally this problem has caused increasing frustration as a result of this lack of any real info outside of often brief windows of time (The mid 80s to late 2000s being one of the bigger if still somewhat spotty windows of info for Baja).

Switzerland’s whole ‘motorsport ban’ thing always confused me; somehow (and thankfully) rallying got away with it. So we still have events like Rallye du Valais to enjoy, as well as other long-running rallies like Rallye du Chablais and Critérium Jurassien… I’ve always wondered what the actual ruling is because I got the impression motorcycle races are exempt too?

was going through my old Autosport issues while cleaning, and found the drawings and articles on a car that was both a prototype and quick changed into an open wheel carr. I got a question for your qna: have you considered driving the tracks in racing games (most likely assetto corsa) with the correct cars to get a better idea of how the track is from a driver's point of view?
