Very good! Just as you said, we need to emphasize fundamental strength and stability before adding tons of high-impact reps. There are so many kids playing volleyball right now, which is great, but we need to teach athletes to put in time doing thoughtful strength and mobility work. Keep sharing this message!

Great content. What's your opinion on programing vertical versus horizontal push/pull movements for volleyball players? It seems intuitive for vertical push and pull to have priority for them (more specific), however horizontal pushing (especially) is more common. Is bigger strength output (weight)/more muscle being used for push-ups/bench the reason?

@@mvnyx7528 Thank you just ran my daughter and her teammate through this workout (3 sets) Added jump squats immediately after the single leg box squats as a super set and ab work at the end. They really enjoyed it. Thanks🙏🏼
