It is not easy to open up about benefiting from counseling while processing grief, especially as a Middle Eastern man with an image worth protecting in the community. Huge huge props to Sayed Ali for sharing his experience and for being vulnerable about how difficult it is to internalize big emotions and how helpful it was to have access to help. Honestly it added a layer of authenticity to the conversation because mental health is such a hot topic now but many times the people speaking are individuals who have never sought therapy and cannot speak to its impact truthfully.

These conversations are so excellent that I don't have much more to say, but this was truly amazing. The doctor gave some amazing advice that would really help me personally about rumination. I know what was meant when this was called an overdone topic but the context in which you framed it, and actually delving into the vulnerability made it so worthwhile 🌙🌙🌙
