Great video. Thanks for that. Unfortunately there are not many specialists on this topic out there. That`s why I always return to this video.

I have a few questions. I do combination of peroneal training and physical therapy with a older group people. On a one to one format usually 2 to 3 times a week. I understand all this but in the my settings muscles and nerves overlap. And as people have achs and discomfort in muscles and what might appear to be nerves. Is the separation of the 2 is difficult always to determine. Also in reality a time factor is involved as you understand. Is it fair to go by the feed back of the patient which I always think is a good way to get feel back. But I do realize that what a person is feeling is not always the true sign of positive or negative effect of the long term goal. For example one of the most common nerve problems is the sacatic. By stretching both the nerve by elongation but also stretching muscles in glutes and other parts of the leg always seem to improve. I understand this is a lengthy comment but I read a lot of studies and its not black and white in my opinion. Just curious of your thoughts. Thanks for taking the time to read my concerns. Thanks again

Thanks for the comment. These videos are meant to give some insight and ideas. However, in your case I recommend seeing a specialist who can listen to you, evaluate you and give you specific answers based on findings.

Can nerves get severed? Do they regenerate?
@DrJeffreyOGuinSaintLouis2 жыл бұрын
It would take severe trauma to severe a nerve. They can regenerate to some degree, but slowly.
