As an Australian, we had some very heavyweight Levis jackets(possibly asian market) that had many differences to the type three(but still basically a type 3). I used to often pick them up, and had a great one myself. I haven't seen one in the wild for over 20 years now. A guy in a UK vintage shop offered me $400 for mine.

I’m 64 years old and I remember buying my first pair of Levis. Wish i had my grandfather’s denim and cotton canvas coats and jackets.

Lee is sleeping SOOOO HARD on their Storm Rider silhouette. It's up there with the Type II, actually it's my favorite out of them all.

From what I’ve heard about Demin is that Italy made something similar to it but with a linen canvas type material(I’ve heard it somewhere but I dunno if it’s real or not). Also duck fabric wasn’t the only option for demin so was moleskin and it was popular in Britain a long time for work use until demin replaced it in the 50s though demin was used in ww2 for the Royal navy and doing summer operations as supposed to wearing itchy wool uniforms.

Very funny you know which brands my only two denim jackets are! I just got a Taylor Stitch one too. I'm planning more denim jacket content for this fall

Bought myself a waxed trucker jacket from Flint and Tinder in the U.S, solid jacket, I searched after seeing the jacket worn by Pedro Pascal in "The Last Of Us" series. Now I will be warm, dry, and stylish while blowing away zombies.

Hell yea man, zombies are the harshest fashion judges Also that jacket is heavily inspired by the Type 1 in this vid!

I really prefer the type II, I'm eyeing a sashiko type 2 jacket at the moment from Japan blue. I have a type 3 that's sized up and allows me to layer but I don't really wear it often, don't know why, never bonded with it.
@Stridewise Жыл бұрын
I have such a hard time finding jackets that fit my long torso I just go with whatever fits me, and ideally has handwarmer pockets after that. The type comes third
