I too was there. Not in the same place, but I saw what happened. It was a dark day at first. My hodgepodge retinue and I were fighting a battle against an extremely small but highly influential Tzeentchian warband known as the "Cult of the Blasphemous Eye" (despite numbering in only the low double digits, they managed to turn half of the local Astartes chapter), and we were basically making a final stand against both them and a mind-controlled horde of civilians. I mean, it's technically not in my job description to be fighting Chaos warbands, I'm an Ordo _Xenos_ Inquisitor Lord for crying out loud, not Ordo Maleus, but as literally the only active inquisitor in my backwater sector I kinda have to take on the job of all three major ordos. We're on the outer edge of the galaxy in Segmentum Obscurus, last stop before the Halo Stars and literally on the other side of the Eye of Terror from the main bulk of the Imperium, so we're basically on our own. The sector could fall and the Imperium wouldn't even know it. And then, the light shined through, reaching even the deepest levels of the thrice-damned underhive we were trapped in. While they didn't have quite the same reaction as the enemies you fought, the Cult of the Blasphemous Eye lost their hold on the brainwashed masses they were sending at us and were forced to retreat. And before you ask, no, we didn't slaughter the Cult's brainwashing victims wholesale afterwards, as much as 'Crusader' would have liked to. The loss of so much manpower in a sector already starved for it wouldn't be worth "just being sure", and it was pretty obvious that they weren't in control of themselves at the time anyway. As for why I wasn't in the warp with the rest of the Inquisition, I did get the message but only asked that I be allowed to continue my duties under a different title, since we couldn't afford to lose inquisitional oversight over the sector.

I... I have no real words to say. Though Fyodor has done horrible things to a lot of innocent people, I feel that this moment and this song light fires that clear the way to a more bright and redeeming path. But we cannot ever, EVER, forget the true soldier, Dominique. A man that had to stand by the side of this mad man, has seen the great glory that is Terra and has ventured through the horrors of the Warp briefly with absolute tenacity. But most of all, if not for Dominique, Fyodor the (hopefully) Redeemed, and everyone else would have perish from the terror that is the warp. May this song sing forever as a true memento of the true heroes and stand as a lesson that anyone, even someone like Dominique, could save lives and maybe worlds.

I have listened to this song at least 30 times by now, but I never realized til now what (I believe) is the most amazing part of it: there’s 4 main sections to it, but every one of them uses the same notes. (I know that’s probably not right, but I don’t know music terminology very well) So this song is basically the same little bit repeated 4 times (with a slight deviation in the 2nd part with the strings adding a little flair), but because each part is played on a different instrument (music box for 1, guitar for 3 and piano for 4), each part has a subtly different feel to it. TL;DR: having the same bit repeated 4 times, but with different instruments each time gives this song a lot more emotion and straight-up power than a song written for an internet parody series has any right to have. Absolutely marvelous.

Dude, this is that song at the end of the most recent videos that gave me all the feels. Man I can imagine a god being taken out to the sound of this music. A soundtrack that sounds hopeless at the beginning but builds up to an epic peaque that restores the hope in those whom had given up. It was if the hand of doom when failure seemed certain was blown to high hell by a last minute savior, that fabric of reality folding on itself as a power so great and inconceivable came to the rescue and saved those who felt all was lost. The guy has a love for both 40K and ME, and i have to say, his more grimdark and balsy ME universe is amazing, and the time and effort put into what is in the end a fanfiction is quite honestly staggering, i'm pretty sure his story in it's entirety has passed the 2 millions words by this point.

This song, the moment it accompanies is so beautiful. It bravely shines in spite of the grimdark despair, giving hope to those who thought they would never feel it again. It's not just the Emperor who's back, but something even better, His compassion, hope and love for all humankind. And this was the key theme in TTS. to turn the gratitous bleakness and grimdark of Warhammer universe into something hopeful, and it's centered around father figures. 41th Millenium doesn't need warlords and heroes no more. As Brother Santodes put it, It needs a daddy. Emperor bringing back and redeeming Magnus. Kitten taking care not only over the Emperor, but also the entirety of Adeptus Custodes. The return of Vulkan and other primarchs. Rogal pretty much adopting Boy. And of course The Starchild, Emperor's fatherly love incarnated, making his way back towards the Golden Throne. It was a beautiful story, tragically cut short by the GW's shennanigans. But I believe, and I hope, that someday, TTS will return, tie back all the loose threads, and continue to make us laugh, cry, and scream of joy and awe. Emperor Bless you guys.
