Hi Dr. Tobias , I would have never thought that half round blue roll will make such a difference. I only started doing these exercises yesterday afternoon. Before I went to bed I could lift up my arm straight forward. Next morning ( today ) I woke up with crazy muscle pain. 😀 I can not thank you enough for all your videos. Thank you so much. You are giving my life back. 🥲

Recently I have taken to sleeping on tatami style mat. My thinking is that as an infant ND toddler all.this arm extension was a natural result of the ambulatory theater. So my therapy room now resembles a toddlers crib with a few extras, a mini trampoline, several aerobic step up blocks, resistance bands, hand rails, etc. Designing new challenges in safe ways with material o hand is the ride I'm on, and I am with much concentration now able to open a doorwith left hand. It's slow going, but it's going. Appreciate this channel so much! Peace!

I work out every minute of the day, but the result almost seems like i'm going nowhere. There are so many areas I need to fix, you give me hope. How should I plan my programs in a day? What's the rule to set up priority? What are the important areas?How long for each session?

My questions what can help to reduce the heaviness in my hand. I get a lots of spasms in my left foot. I go walking, gym and its ok but it’s hard work. I am independent with all my hygiene care and I use my right hand to support the poorly hand.

Hi Doc, I am 7 years into my stroke. Have regained almost all my movements of hand an leg but I am not able to use them for any useful purpose. Because of severe pain tingling and pins & needle feeling in complete affected side. Palm and sole feel they have been crushed freshly. Any smaller movement generates a whole lot of pain. At time both hand and leg become very heavy. Kindly suggest.
@rehabhqofficial4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and for sharing your story. Generally speaking, some strokes (especially in the thalamus) can cause more "hypersensitivity to pain". The other thing that can cause this is not moving. If someone is hypersensitive to small movements and/or touch on the skin, I usually suggest to just do a little movement but do it like 10 times a day. ;) I hope that helps!
