God bless you Brotha! I had a major stroke 8/08/18 within the first month I was up walking via cane and my speach was better, I still struggle with my speech and I'm no longer dependent on a cane.. I still have limited use of my left hand honestly I don't have any use of my hand at all but I. Can move my arm, it's been 3 yrs since my stroke. I fear that I won't be back to 100% and better ,. I want my speech fully back and the full use of my left hand.

I had more or less the same symptoms the beginning of 2021 and on the 5th January 2021 as I was playing with my 2 year old son, I tried to run and blacked out and next thing I knew I was waking up from the ground. I immediately went to the ER and they did some assessment and tests. The Dr indicated I had TIA. It's been 4 days since I fell and to date my arm and leg (both right) still feels weak. Luckily I didnt loose my mobility neither, I can walk and still do most of my usual activities though i can tell hand is not 100% - thank God

So is there Anything you still can't do? Did your arm hurt, or was it just weak? Was it only when you moved a certain way that you noticed? Have you heard of herbal supplements i.e. mushroom extracts to be used as remedies, or is that too good to be true/not the solution?

As far as how fast to recover. It does depend on how quickly they get the clot out. For example my moms little sister 40s had a stroke in March two weeks later she was back to normal. From the time she had the stroke to the procedure to remove the clot 4 hours max maybe less. Now my mom had a stroke and heart attack back in May the heart attack came first then the stroke a few days in the hospital. It took them 14 HOURS from the time she had the stroke to the procedure because she had to get transferred to another hospital 🤦🏾‍♀️. And she still is not speaking clearly, can’t read, her right arm is not fully functional, and yes she did therapy for speech and her arm. All we can do is pray the lord heals her completely. She was a school teacher one of the best, and it pains her not being able to go in and teach every day 😢
