This video tells me that Herc died in Atlantis solely to avoid him showing up reuniting up with his weapon. Since Marmyadose should be in of the Greek Lostbelts since they happen after the Giant Wars for a fourth Great War. Yeah... The one issuenI have with 3rd ascension Castoria during The Morgan Lostbelt was how she died without entering that form. So we never get an explanation for what happened to the "Treasures" she lost when she arrived in Faerie Britain from Avalon. And we first see her use it vs Oberon-Vortigen but never is there an explanation during the story when she appears in her 3rd ascension of why she has it or why she has Rhongominiad projectiles. Imo anyways. Iirc

It is always weird how (from the characters of the original Fate Stay Night) Hercules always receive so little attention. Like, at this point it is a joke how much Artorias we have (even a Caster one), while Heracles only has his Berserker version (and with only one depiction basically). Aside from Fate/Stranger Fake, of course. Emiya has some different versions, Cuchulain has, Medeia, Gilgamesh. Hercules, despite always being this "OH MY GOD HE WAS THE BEST" is always stuck with "the bur-zer-car"

Marmayadose being a mythological mystic code it likely means if you can unleash all its power then you'll be able to do the bullshit stuff the others mythological mystic codes can do, which is going times the Speed of likghty, being able to defy concepts, defeating super bb in her territory etc, we only have few of these but they are all BROKEN, it is likely that saber herc as a normal servant cannot wield this sword or at least not fully utilize it cause it'd be way too strong for a normal hgw, which is why we wait for fgo

But humans like to take things at face value, so maybe Artoria was like yeah this is stronger than Excalibur even though she never used it too it's full extent. The only close thing we have is Excalibur Proto which destroys Gil's NP and damages him as well, not to mention the dude is after a beast alone which shows what it can do.

@@zain.munirzain5872 Well i guess we'd technically never know but it has been confirmed that saber has said that her excalibur is just as strong and has the same seals as proto excalibur. Also proto excalibur did destroy Gil's NP but what you should remember is that 1 it was never fired and 2 it wasn't EA. And even though saber never used excalibur at full power she knew about the seals and likely how strong it could be. The difference is that if artoria released all the seals she could use excalibur no problem she would just need to meet the conditions. But with marmyadose it doesn't matter what she did merlin said she'd never be able to use it to it's full potential like Heracles could and i think that means something.

Is Artoria's scabbard truly the best defense type Noble Phantasm when paired with Excalibur or are there better defensive type Noble Phantasms? By the way, I do include Phantasm's like Hercules 12 Lives as a defensive noble phantasm. When I say defensive I mean anything that would allow you to take a hit or survive an attack while using phantasm, swords, shields, or armor, skills do not count.

Avalon can't even be penetrated by true magic, true magic defeated Crimson moon, a type, so yes its the Best defensive NP, Heracles's 12 lives while good can be bypassed by overwhelming firepower so the bigger the difference between You and an enemy becomes the less efective IT becomes, Mash/Galahad's shield is probably number 2 in terms of raw defense since IT did block Goetia's NP even though She died from IT.

Who could handle a fully unsealed excalibur then I wonder other than whoever is rever to be grand saber of course provably whoever defeated Zefar. Maybe Arueid in Type form both being an extension of the planet itself she probably could handle Excalibur the easiest sharing the same nature with the sword though the swordsmanship skills might be something she would lack.

The seals are basically conditions. If he meets all the conditions, all seals are dropped. It's just most of the time only a couple seals can be unlocked.

Basically in theory herc’s sword is stronger on average because there is no limitation aside from strength where as excalibur has lower power but conditionally can further increase its power. In anime terms it would probably be like herc’s sword being equal to ultimate gohan in z who was the strongest unfused fighter at the time until super, and then gogeta/vegito who over powered them by doing the condition of fusion being excalibur

You have to also understand that shirou has his limits on what he can project and use. Marmydose is a sword is said to be stronger than Excalibur, so would wielding it's power overload his magic circuits? I'd imagine Archer would be able to do it, even if with some complications but we don't really have a example to go off of as Excalibur is the strongest sword either have ever projected, and we haven't seen Archer ever project anything better.

So its simple Herc does not have the sword first in game because the sword itself was invent for the Arthurian myths it does not exist in ancient myths. Each author of the cycle added their own symbolism and mythology to the knights. Its the same as Galahad having the Sword of the Strange Hangings. Its supposed to be David's but there is no such thing. Whoever is not buying my comment just try and google this sword in any language you want.
