The history of Smaug Smaug the Flying/Bug croconaw, was caught in the grass at Lake Verity at level 3. He got trained up by his trainer to level 9. In Smaug’s battle against a level 7 Grass/Flying Shiftry, he attempted to kill the opposing mon, but he unfortunately died due to a flying move.

I dunno why, but I keep thinking Shiftry is a Grass/Flying type by default, I keep forgetting it's Grass/Dark. I think the reason might be because of its big leaf fan hands, it uses wind to attack with, and Flying is kinda like a Wind type, isn't it? So for that reason, I guess, I keep thinking whenever I see a Shiftry in the games, Grass/Flying. I also keep thinking Cottonee and Whimsicott are Grass/Flying, because they float and fly, but they're pure Grass, until they become Grass/Fairy from gen 6 onwards. And of course I keep thinking Gorebyss is Water/Psychic and Huntail is Water/Dark. I'm not sure, but from what I remember, in the Ranger Shadows of Almia game, Gorebyss has Poké Assist Psychic and Huntail has Poké Assist Dark? Which might be the reason? But also generally because they learn Psychic or Dark moves. It's weird that they're both pure Water. I also forget all the time that Cacnea is pure Grass and not part Dark type, and that Torkoal is pure Fire and not Fire/Rock. I also keep thinking Heatmor is Fire/Steel, coz it just looks part Steel, but it's pure Fire?! Heatran is the only Steel/Fire type?!? Glalie does look Ice/Dark, but is always pure Ice, I dunno if I ever think of it as part Dark when I initially see it in the games, but it does still learn Crunch, so yeah. What other Pokémon do you tend to misremember their typings?
