Another thing that sucks is that, Technically lufficero used Liebe’s body to end Ricitia life, using his hand too. So that does make liebe feel more guilty since he witnesssed his own mother’s passing and someone used him to do so.

Even though I already knew it would happen, I somehow still cried during the moment that Liebe told Asta his name and was confident he was Licita's kid. I loved that moment so much, cause in my eyes it's almost like a moment that gives them a brotherly bond, and the idea of Asta having a (Step) brother that shared his same experience of being magicless makes me really happy. Black Clover is so good, and I can't wait for the manga to continue this story and for the anime to eventually return.

So a movie has been confirmed.To clarify the anime was shut down in order for the manga to pull distance. In general manga are adapted into manga when they have around 100 ch, so we need around 2 yrs to reach enough distance HOWEVER they wont consider bringing back the anime UNLESS the movie is susscesful so make sure to support the release when it comes if you are financiary able to do it, if you want for episode 171

I have never seen any anime start like black clover and end up like this. The ride was amazing, black clover has one thing that other new gen don't have which is the emotional part of the anime. Hands down my favorite new gen. Hopefully the movies does well so they could see how popular black clover is so they could continue the anime and make it seasonal.

Not gonna lie, I kinda feel bad for Asta.. his mom gave him up when he was a baby, so he never knew her and then the devil that is in his body got to be with his mom instead and she genuinely cared for the Devil.. it's like, Asta was basically nothing... And then she dies and Asta never even gets to see her but his devil did.. like, makes me feel a bit jaded in a way.

You see this from the wrong perspective but I can see where your arguments come from. Licita basically gave asta away to protect him from her magic, since it would have killed him. It is also speculated that when asta was still in her womb, that her magic absorbed astas magic/mana and this being the reason he has no magic. Licita cared much about asta and she was heartbroken to give him away and you can see this when she says „I‘m never going to give somebody up again“ to Lucifero.

@@Emma-vj4cj I get it, but since we the audience didn't really get any insight into her feelings besides one little flashback and the one line, it lacks real emotion.. at least for me. I understand Asta probably wouldn't have these feelings, because me never knew his mom but we the audience get to see her drop him off and live on with Liebe as he adopted kid. Imagine IRL your mom drops you off at some church, you don't even really know her and for at least a bit, she adopts another child and they get to have a child/parent relationship with all the love that entails. Then, before you ever meet her, she dies and the child she adopted and raised instead of you has to move in with you and now you're best friends all the while you don't know this new guy knew your mom but he knows you're the real child of his adopted mom..sorry for my messy analogy, but it's kinda messed up, which is why I feel bad for Asta. I appreciate your reply though!

Fun fact: Dante's devil, Lucifero, was the one to kill the only person who cared for Liebe and destroyed his life. Dante also injured Yami very badly leading to him getting captured. So the half brothers, Liebe the misunderstood devil, and Asta, the magic knight who grew up in a church in the boonies with no magic have a common enemy to take down and I feel that will make their relationship even stronger
