If you remove the oil filler cap for the gearbox, you can get in with a long screwdriver or pri bar and move the worn selector manually to get back to neutral. Happens often to our 230. Fully de clutch and ensure gear lever is fully across before putting into gear and it should not happen again.

I was amazed when the old cutter bar mower cut so well Chris Its an old tractor /gear box As you are probly aware gears selectors work in a H patten dont go diagonal and feel the selector/gear when moving leaver As above below undo oil filler nexst to main leaver and use bar to get selectors back in line always had a spanner head welded on a pri bar hanging on tractor or on some in tool box in mudguard

On the 35's the selector often slips out of the fork when it gets worn. You can open up the filler cap and reach in with a screwdriver to slide it back into neutral. Less risk of it happening if you keep downward pressure on the gear knob when changing. Another bloody good show from Chris and family, never fails to cheer me up!

Derv in the tractor . You need to get a red diesel tank mon Open the plug left of the gear lever and get a big flat screw driver in it . Very comon worn selectors . Been doing on mine for 20 years

best way to do tatties is by growing them in Old tyres mostly lay a tyre down fill with soil put one seed or two seed potatoes on top then start laying up your tyres to the height you want to take it I'm leaving alone I'm wait for the bush to show on top then when you crop you take off say one or two or three tyres at a time to how many potatoes you want

the joys our 35 has the same issue you removed the right cap and in there is a large gear which sometimes need spun a bit to release it other times the gear needs levered forward doesn't take much to release it just needs a half meter screwdriver to reach it. odd time you can reverse an it'll jump out of gear that is if your not backed up till something unmoveable like where mine normally locks out

Hi Chris, it’s best to leave the headland closest to the hedge (right hand side of tractor) until last as there is more risk of damaging the finger bar mower in that area, due to debris being thrown or left behind by someone. Keep going Christy Bloggs Agri Contractor. 😂😂😂

Great video Chris What a bloody farming struggle That tractor stuck in gear didn't make sense why it just suddenly released and then worked ok Chris it maybe worth having it apart and looking at it because something may have broken which jammed the gears and when you reversed it dropped into the sump it might be just a tooth off a gear. Chris you are meant to be not trying to get points on your license driving that tractor on the road with no roll bar on would of got you points had you been pull over be careful bud. The massey 135 often get stuck in gear..selector can be jammed between 2 gears. Put a large screwdriver or pry bar thru the oil fill hole u had open. try spin the gear or move the selector should move release . Also safety switch for starting in neutral is only on small gear stick .
