I recommend shooting on a tripod with bounced strobes and bracketing exposures, then compositing with layers in photoshop so that you have appropriate exposures for both the indoor and the outdoor lighting - otherwise things will look dim or bland indoors and the window view will be blown out.

Hi! I can choose one condo over another by the outside view - I agree with the ideas of give me a prettier day and the ideas of bringing the porch to "life." Right now it seems lonely, cold and dingy - which rationally I'm sure it's not. Bring in the idea / story of what you can do out there. Yes - stage it. Even in the winter would be nice. Also - pull in closer and/or away from the adjoining unit. No need to show them. Just focus you are a corner unit. Good luck. I'm opening one in Miami in April 2018. I'm buying what was my grandmother's house and bringing joy back to it. I want to offer the same hospitality my grandmother always did. I'm going to be calling it - "Mi Abuelitas." I'm lucky the property has 2 houses and an efficency - so I'll be living there too. Trying to figure out whether to rent 2nd house as 2 seperate rooms -shared space or 1 home 2 bed, 1 bath 6+ people. (Queen and sofa/twin in each room and pull out sofa in livingroom.) Have to research who would want to use it how. We do need to express why our locations and places are unique! I think I'm looking to attract the nonparty, mature travelers, interested in the Cuban culture, tropical places to explore in Miami, like Venetian Pool, Fairchilds Tropical Botanical Gardens (83 acres started in the 20s - amazing place!) and the Art Deco architecture and Beaches of South Beach and the Lighthouse at the state park. Great success! Great videos! Oh! And thank you for the idea of a house plan! Brilliant!

I believe weekly and monthly discounts would actually be a good thing. It would save on cleaning fees by encouraging longer stays, create familiarity with the tenants, and could lead to more consistent and mutually beneficial expectations.

Yes its difficult if everyone else (or a lot of hosts) offers them, if I'm choosing a place for a week or a month, it may make me choose one that gives me a discount for sure.

I haven't seen an airbnb in my area yet that has a virtual tour with anyone speaking. Does airbnb have an app for that or does it come from somewhere else? I'd love to do it - as I am a completely bilingual speaker and speak my English and my Spanish without an accent of a different language in either - which may appeal to travelers native in either language. ¿Quién sabe? Who knows..? LOL @MadelineHere
