Finally, someone not affraid to put some distortion on this demo. My dear Lord, not all of us are going to use this for worship or other soft sounding music. I bet this thing will make killer 80s metal lead reverb/echo, which i'm after

Guys, check out Rabea Massad's videos on this pedal. He has a video dedicated to each of the 12 reverb types. I know it's sort of become the norm now, but Paul didn't do this pedal justice.

Great demo. I find this pedal compliments a semi-hollow bodied guitar a bit more naturally than the guitar used here. You can also use the Strymon for keys stuff, it's pretty incredible

Is it just me or do most guitarwold demos sound awful? Yeah it's a good pedal and I have no doubt that Paul is a good player but it just sounds off to me.
@dapperdanman195610 жыл бұрын
I think its a result of not rehearsing. It would help to study the peddle,play it a couple days, set whats imp in time ya have. Stryman is a little high but ya could run a band, plus on your board. Good stuff.
@dapperdanman195610 жыл бұрын
A very useful peddle. I'm sure there are much we didn't hear. Great demo Paul.

Awesome demo ! I always wonder with a high res device such as this : to get the most out of it, it really belongs *after* the guitar amp / preamp since typically guitar power amps and cabs have narrow frequency response tuned to the midrangy region of a guitar's audio spectrum. How would one use this in a live situation while still keeping one's amp rig signature sound ? Mic and house mixer probably wouldn't even be stereo. So I'm thinking of this as more of a recording tool than a performance tool. Thoughts ?
@kbrown6497 жыл бұрын
goddamn that device is sick. I need one!!!

I was a little overwhelmed at first with all the knobs,buttons,press this,hold that then press this to change scrolling abbreviations you have no clue what they mean. But after spending 3 days with it I can honestly say any Nasa rocket scientist with a slide rule can figure it out.

I find it funny that everybody on these boards always complains about the prices of these pedals you have to remember how much the company spends on R&D not to mention strymon in particular doesn't skimp on the components inside the pedals they're Boutique pedals meant for session musicians and professional players
@bruhdamartinasty36364 жыл бұрын
To a certain extent probably. But after that, it's all about profits because they have something we want badly. It's good old fashion greed.

This reverb pedal is supposedly the greatest pedal reverb of all time. This guy's 80s' arena rock vibe just isn't doing it justice. Grab a sparkly Stratocaster, not some muddy humbucking axe, and play clean.
