Anybody else watch these videos not only for gear ideas, but also for ideas on how to use your existing gear better?

My first Strymon pedal, the best one, bought it in 2017 ! ... It made me a Strymon fan, for life, now I own 11 Strymon pedals ! ... A very nice video, a pleasure to watch !

I don’t think I’ll ever replace my Bigsky, mobius or timeline. They just do everything I could ever want.

An artistically designed pedal in the hands of a creative musical artist. Good match.

After waiting to find a good deal on a used one for MONTHS...I finally just bought this new. In 2021. These are rarely around for under $400 unless they are very used. Say what you want about Strymon's high prices, but they have developed gear that has went beyond good and now is considered iconic.

A friend once told me, "That Mike Hermans could sell a cherry snow cone to a woman in a white sweater on a sunny day." I have no doubt that is true. I've bought my share of pedals based on Mike's demos.

I’m in the market for a Big Sky so nice to hear all the different sounds but I can’t read what the display says upper left due to lighting glare. Would also be interested to know how the button changes are working, sometimes one, sometimes buttons ganged. I’ll have to look up the manual, I guess.

Please could you do a video on how your using those A,B and C foot switches! There are no videos out there that shows how they work in depth. I just bought the Big Sky today and have been so frustrated with trying to use those switches..

Whats the difference in sound between this and the ventris Reverb?
@John-e4p1x3 жыл бұрын
Ventura is way more clear. You can design any reverb sound imaginable in Ventura computer app. Ventrris has two chips in it so two stereo reverbs are possible at all times. Big sky has character for sure but Ventris sounds like you took a blanket off the amp, next to big sky. I own them both.

I almost made a joke about a Nigerian colonel, but then I remembered all my African colleagues over the years, and basically what they do is they have a friend bring it back with them from wherever on the plane.

Gr8 pedal but i dont need or afford it. Most ppl who buy it won't create much recorded music either. There will be some satisfaction for untalented ppl though for an hour. These are the buyers.

As an untalented player, I take offense to your dismissive tone. We untalented players are people too, with equal rights, and we deserve to have cool blue reverb pedals! Perhaps this pedal will, in some way, compensate for our LACK of talent, and amuse us for many hours, making us believe we sound better than we actually are. This is not a bad thing. It's a miracle!! I for one, CAN afford this pedal, no problem, if I decide that I want it. So you go take your talented fingers, and play elsewhere through some cheapo reverb pedal. I bet you're awesome.
@Allann8823 жыл бұрын
Something is clear, if you had money you would have the luxury of playing for an hour with this pedal ... No one is going to use 300 types of reverb...
