@@garylovell6017 I grew up in a German family and my Father was born in Hamburg Germany 🇩🇪. So many Top Players from both countries. But just loosing Franse Beckenbauer And the 1974 world cup side of Germany's was a great team and England sometimes was unlucky? But I remember that England Holland were unlucky not to have done better. Because both countries had great players.

Bobby Gould who was the then Coventry manager tells the story of taking his wife to watch a non league game. Within 15 minutes Pearce had put his opponent in the stand. Gould grabbed his wife’s hand and told her they were going he’d seen enough. He immediately signed Pearce for Coventry. I was a 10 year old boy when but I still remember my Mum telling me Coventry had sold Pearce and Ian Butterworth to Forest, I was devastated. I still love the bloke though.

Favourite Forest player , cliche but worth the admission price alone . What a man , what a player . Days out at Wembley watching him will stay with me for ever . Not the same player after a bad injury but amazing memories. Shame he couldn’t make it in management.

Stuart Pearce did not get called Psycho through his tough tackling. When he first signed for Forest from Coventry his hair was shoulder length but some matches later he came out onto the pitch with an Anthony Perkins haircut as in the film Psycho. The Trent end supporters immediately started to call out Psycho repeatedly and the name stuck. I was at this match and other supporters attending that match will confirm this is what happened. JackW

No such thing as a "Borough of Hammersmith"..,its called the Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham....anyway,I`m pretty sure he grew up in Notting Hill which is in the Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
