Thanks so much 🙏🏻 Yes finding the sounds took a bit more time but definitely think it was worth it. I love how compact this lens is. Glad it’s inspired you to head out with your camera 🙌🏻

U should try with Tamton 70-300 like in my videos. It’s f4,5 but whent you bring it to outdoor, the quality is fantastic

Can you make a video about using this lense for talking head youtube videos? Can I buy this instead of Sigma 16 1.4? Would the bokeh look good? Thank you.
@StuartRodwell Жыл бұрын
Great idea! I’ll do a quick video on this in the near future. The bokeh would definitely be more apparent on the Sigma 16mm but it also depends on other factors such as distance to subject - and the distance from the subject to the background.

I want to buy one lens that can do it all. I think this lens might be the one. I will use your affiliate link. Thanks :)@@StuartRodwell

I don't regret buying the 16 and 30mm but in retrospect the 18-50 might have been the smarter option starting out.

Great video Stuart. What do you think of SLog3? I have been experimenting and have decided to shoot everything in SLog3. Have you tried S-Cinetone? Out of the two, I think SLog 3 has superior dynamic range, my vids have never looked so good. Even though the ISO is 800 it still has very little noise. Do you over expose by two stops?

Very NICE! Colour grade you did is pretty cool and the handheld looks impressive on the a6700. Did you do any additional stabe in post? Cheers! - Brett
@StuartRodwell Жыл бұрын
Thanks Brett 🙏🏻 The stabe isn’t perfect but it’s a whole lot better than the A6600. Nope, didn’t use any warp stabiliser - I was tempted to add some to the clip of me walking, but decided against it so that people could get a real world idea of how it looks.

Great video Stuart! I have the same setup and I am wondering, did you use 25 or 50 FPS in the editing software when all of your clips were shot in 50 FPS? Cheers :)
@StuartRodwell Жыл бұрын
Thanks man! 🙌🏻 I worked in a 25fps timeline but interpreted all the 50fps to 25fps (which is what effectively turns it into slow motion footage - 50% real speed) Hope that makes sense.

Hi is the focus the same super responsive with this lens? Or is it better Samyang AF 24-70mm F2.8 FE? Thanks
@nomadikmind3979 Жыл бұрын
how are you liking the camera? specifically the photos. Idk, i feel like most of the stuff ive seen, i dont really like compared to the a6600, there seems to be a very different quality to them that i cant quite pinpoint. It has me thinking if passing on the a6700 for something full frame maybe
@rsat9526 Жыл бұрын
I have had A6600 over 2 years and bought A6700 when it was released. I can confidently say that the A6600 is ok and not a night and day different compared to the A6700. However, the A6700 is noticeably better when it comes to color and overall look of the picture and more important those QoL features especially the AI auto focus. It is so snappy and easy to use. For VDO, it is not even a competition to begin with since the A6700 is a huge step up for what it can do vs the A6600.

I’ve had mixed results with the slog 3 … I’ve tried different exposures from 0 to + 2. Sometimes it’s great at +1 +1.7 +0.7 etc and sometimes it’s rubbish. Think I need more practice
@StuartRodwell11 ай бұрын
Yeah I’m still experimenting with it. I’ve kinda found that just shooting with the gamma assist LUT and eyeballing exposure on the monitor is kinda working better!
