What a great guy, when i think of London in the 60s the Kinks always come to mind, god he wrote some beautiful songs.

iSynthh I think he's better! Better lyrics (in general), and a more poignant, humanistic point of view tempered with a great sense of humor. I also like his melodies better, in general - more use of contrast between raucous rock and roll and lovely, tender melodies.
