@rossdh Thank you for the compliment. I must admit the rock idea was my wife and her parent s, who are really into (NATURAL) I once said to them at a gathering I could pressure wash the moss off the trees and rocks, they about ran me off the property. I have since recovered from my injuries and remember now they like things as close to natural as it gets. Have a great day! kirk Giordano plastering

Evening Marc Boucher the fella who sell this Mortar sprayer is Nolan Ryan, (great guy) you can go to his web page at mortarsprayer online to order these sprayers. This sight won't allow the 3 w's in front or the Dot-com symbols's in the back of the Mortar sprayer, but you can insert this. Thanks for watching and have a good evening. Kirk GiordanoPlastering

Hey Kirk, love your videos! My husband and I came across this video and are wondering how well is the wall standing in 2024?
@StuccoPlastering3 ай бұрын
@@krystalfloyd7860 It has some Cracks as no amount of stucco is going to hold back 500 tons of rained on mountains, but it has surpassed my expectations, cheers

I'm getting ready to try this on a basement wall that is now just dirt. I don't want nice to make a safe haven under the concrete. I was going to use s type mortar (8000#), put down metal lathe, and about 2+ inches of mortar. (It's a rental and kids may crawl on it). Should I use paper and should I use concrete with mortar over top.

I am going to use the mortarsprayer.com tool and try my hand at matching a lava rock foundation appearance by texturing the mortar to look like lava rock and coloring lighter the mortar look lines around each rock.

Hello Dennis Koyle, I would not use the method in this video, I would simply pour concrete with a troweled finish. no need for paper on bottom but the concrete wire should be used too. best wishes, Mice tend to live anywhere where's there is food or a dry haven, good luck with keeping them at bay. Hi Dennis Koyle, this may work, those sprayers take a powerful compressor to operate them effectively and also some time in to get the hang of them. What you wish to accomplish, the sprayer would be your best bet. Kirk and Jason’s DIY plastering tips

Wow, this is soo cool! We're building a 120 foot long partially sub-terraneum (spelling) greenhouse, we dug a huge trench 5' deep, 12' wide, and 115 ' long, and the 12' high greenhouse roofing frame/structure is 4 feet wider and 4 feet longer than the trench. We can gtow trees in it. Anyway we're wanting to use your idea to attach chicken wire to the dirt/earth walls and blow the mortar mix over to form a solid shell/skin. Can you share the actual cement mortar mix recipe that you used for that hillside? Here in Idaho, we want to grow tropical fruit trees year round even in our frigid freezing cold winters that we have. Thanks for your help!!! p.s. we're for sure taking some pictures of this project as we go, that we'll share...

Sir, How many horsepower motor and how many psi suitable for that stucco sprayer.thanks

Howdy Jay, this stucco sprayer reqires a lot of power, if you have the electric or gas powered Compressor that is simular to a wheel barrel, these work well, the small compressors don't operate these sprayers to well. Best wishes, live long and plaster Giordano’s teaching video’s

Hi, I wonder if you have a video you could point me in it’s direction, or tell me how, and what type of material you would use to plaster something like a pond. It’s actually like-think of an inground swimming pool, but on the scale of a wading pool for dogs...
@StuccoPlastering3 жыл бұрын
good evening Stephanie, the same portland cement, I'm using in this video, I actually did the three-level fish pond in this video too, using portland cement mixed with three times as much sand to each part of stucco.🥂

This is awesome. Kirk you are a work horse.I am getting a lot of ideas now.I think I might use this method to fix my pond!!! What would be the best mix to use,I am thinking 50/50 mortar and portland 3 parts sand for our Ontario climate. Do you ever take holidays Kirk?

Good afternoon Truth dude, I too use 3 parts cement plaster, I have time off often this may sound wierd but I prefer work to rexing unless there's a tropical beach is involved, this prospect is usually out of my hands lots of dough needed for that stuff. I can not find any products called cement plaster for exterior work.I found some white stucco in bags which is nice to work with but I would really like to make a nice brown mix that spreads so nice like yours.
