Crazy Fishing in Japan !!! Bet you could spend a whole week in one of those Tackle Shops ... and Spend a Fortune !!

Japan is so surreal. Both the modern and traditional. Like it or not you must admit an amazing culture. Bucket list item fishing in Japan. Living the dream baby. Could you mention a little about the cost of fishing permits and limits etcetera?
@pakde80024 жыл бұрын
18:00 building a tapered leader with rabbit fur??? I can imagine this guy 200 years ago rigging up his line on a samurai bow. Totally fascinating. You could do a whole episode on this gentleman. (Sorry I forgot his name and wouldn't try to spell it anyway 😂)

F@$&king amazing vid. That whole experience for fishing on a rock in the middle of two island tidal flows to one of the best kept secrets of making your knots stronger with rabbit fur! JEALOUS.

It's weird because fishing is huge in Japan but I haven't seen a single Japanese KZbinr and when I try to find videos of fishing in Japan videos are few and far between. I'd love to go to Japan one day and do some fresh & salt water fishing.

"Where do you start" is exactly right! I was in a Japanese fishing tackle shop a couple of months back and came out with so much less than I wanted, totally spoilt for choice and of course everything is in Japanese so difficult to get sizes and weights and prices!

@Symo2314 жыл бұрын
Don't give us too much credit haha. We buy tapered fly lines with loops on the end, we buy a leader with another loop, we put the loops together, then uni to uni a tippet line on the end.
