Did you make any video about use of the M32 as a DAW controller (I mean for use to play and rec, go back o forward, go to a marker, etc.? I have the Behringer X Touch that I find vey useful for this. If I buy the M32 could I put aside the Xtouch?

Im glad I found this channel. Im planning on saving up money for a Midas M32 for studio work once i get more money, and Logic Pro is my go to DAW. Im gonna subscribe for more Midas and Logic videos 😁😁 I have a question: when the Midas is in DAW Control mode and you use FX processing on the board, does it use the processing power of Midas or Logic? Can I access Logic's compressors from the board or do I have to mix in the box to do so? I hope I'm not asking the question incorrectly

so multi track recording how does that work? say I have a vocalist guitarist and a drummer I want to record all seperately in fl studio/logic. Would I be able to isolate each channel separately into the daw? Giving each mic their own channel in the mix rack of the daw? Or would it be summed as a stereo master? I'm trying to see how that would work.

Set up a mic for each thing you want to record, plug it into the individual inputs on the desk. It all gets routed to separate channels in your daw. Just set up your inputs on your daw to match the channels on the desk.

What would be the best way to run an analog hardware chain with multiple pieces of gear?
@VirtualVerghini11 ай бұрын
Depends what you want to record, you can plug the final output into a channel or you can use good di boxes to split the signal at different points for later editing. You can also use the aux inputs to place gear in the chain, giving you the ability to bypass them while playing

Thanks for this video. I have a question. So you can't overdub on the same track? Like, if you need to do "punch" somewhere on that recording? what will happen if you record drums and you need to overdub? does that mean you need to create new tracks for each drum inputs to overdub?
@VirtualVerghini3 ай бұрын
You have several options you can record directly over the old tracks, logic calls this folder tracks and they are very useful for multiple takes. Or you can add new tracks on logic and turn record arm on on those and off on anything that doesn't require a recording.

How do you rout the logic metronome to a channel on the console?
@VirtualVerghini10 ай бұрын
The click is set to Logic output is card output which you can set up in your routing menu on the desk. Pick a channel and select card output.
