Or, you can actually do the opposite - control whats going on in serato via build in to 72 mixer screen and have nice big session view on your laptop. In dark club enviroment it works great for me. IMO Push screen is to tiny and this session view looks like a mess

Anatoly Ice Live is the secondary sound source for me in this set up so Serato will alway be the main screen, plus I use the keyboard and search for tracks, whilst Live is preprepared...

Thank you for this video, this is an amazing tool as usual from Isotonik. Can you change the font on Push' display when using P2D?

You can change the size and justification but not the font...

There's a suggestion for an update, the old typewriter doesn't fit well in a modern hardware. It's a small thing, but it's easier to read a simpler font. Thank you!

Literally was about to give up on the whole idea of using LIVE for shows because of the laptop dependency but now seeing this it's like this could absolutely work. Because I can have the laptop offstage! How long would you reckon it's going to take until it's out and ready for ableton live 11?

I see, curious because I use traitor and ableton with link and I know if you make 1 track master you can get problems, in fact it goes crazy and creates nasty sounds. Maybe it’s just a traktor bug.

Tom Burnell not had any reports of it working well with Traktor, I may be wrong but I don’t think it outputs the downbeat so things can fall out of phrase easily... happy to be corrected though, just know with Serato DJ and proper beat grids I don’t have a problem...

I've tried using Serato synced with Ableton through Link and it's always off. I have to nudge the vinyl to make them sync up. I'm running a 2017 maxed out 15" MacBook Pro.

hey darren i just bought this for a similar purpose running ableton and serato at the same time. Really great functionality and super professional video BTW! One thing with the overlays is that the abelton tempo overlay doesnt seem to work when P2D is active, like the 8 encoders do, for example, when P2D is active and i move the push tempo encoder i dont see the tempo anymore on the push display :( For djing im adjusting the tempo of tracks in ableton often so i need to be able to see the current tempo on the push when i move the tempo encoder. is this possible with current version of P2D? or can this be a feature request? I think this is really important if you are aiming for djs to use this.

Hi darren, great video. I'm wanting to do something similar. Could you let me know what you are doing for audio outputs for each software. Is serato and ableton sharing the serato hardware audio interface or do you have multiple interfaces? or are you using serato hardware and then just line out from laptop for ableton?
