Im loving all your videos, Ive been watching them over and over! I think you mentioned in one video, you guys built your house, from the paintings you’ve done of your house, it looks beautiful. I love that color (green mint?) on the walls. What color would that be since ipad screens show a different color. Thank you for all your inspiration. I really enjoy watching you play with the pastels, watercolors in between paintings…I do that as well. I now paint in my sketch books or journals! I have seen the video of the studio getting repainted in creme! great video…I also have tiny colored xmas lights hanging in my art room and love the feel they give. What brand of sketchbook did you use with the markers that didnt have a bleed through the page? Fabriano? thanks Sandi

So glad you’re enjoying them so much Gwen!!! I have no idea the name of the green walls - I made the color up 😂 and I have no clue what the formula is. The sketchbook was a Stillman and Birn. I using list the supplies I use in the video down in the description so you can always check that too.

So Sandy ... now that you've used both for a while ... which do you love more --the oil pastels or the water soluble Caran Daches? I've got to say oil pastels - the seneliers - are my faves. i love their creaminess, the way they flow, etc. What do you think? Loved the foyer and those framed teeny barettes are so sweet!

I use them in such separate/different ways - they seem like two completely different mediums so I really can't pick!!! I'm glad I have them both and will be keeping both stocked in my studio. Thank you for the kind comment!!!!

I have but it's not my favorite thing to do - it just makes them dissolve and you lose the nice marks

Hi Sandi, I really think it is funny that you hate purple and that is the color you chose for your top in the self portrait. That was in the beginning of the video, I have not gotten through the video as of yet, you may have changed it. I really enjoy your videos, there are a few of your painting that I would love to have, none of them are in your store, but all on the walls in your studio. They are probably not for sale. It’s interesting you draw your hair straight when it’s wavy/curly. I’ve straightened my hair for decades because I didn’t know how to do curly/wavy hair. But now getting curls back via CGM. Anyway random comment sorry 😆

Elin, well this is a really good point 😂. I started the curly girl method several years again and wow - big difference! I’m wondering if I paint my hair straight because I’m usually just putting down shapes and I’m focusing more on shape. Who knows! Good observation though!

Thanks for noticing I'm close to the 1K mark!!! That's a good idea and under normal conditions I probably would but the corona virus is really bad where I am and so we're not shipping anything right now.
