The way he grabs taht pint he poured, whilst Ronnie is still crippling those beat-up thugs, smashing their kneecaps with those clawhammers of his: thats not the first time they savagely hospitalized a whole group of gangsters! Thin of the aftermath: All of those ..seven? dudes had to go to the hospital, if not for their faces being bashed up, and broken ribs, then it was for the job that Ronnie did on their kneecaps: at best, they'd be doing recovery-therapy for several weeks, at worst, they'd be crippled for life, or walk funny: Totally disabled for the line of work they did for the Richardsons, who sent a big group of their bést men to deal with the twins. Reggie beat em up bad enough for them to think twice before ever crossing them again, but Ronnie ensured they wouldnt even walk straight anymore; he knocked their knee's to smitherines, ensuring those 7 fucks wouldnt even be able to cross them again, if they wanted to. Although Tom Hardy has done a tremendous amount of work and a remarkably diverse list of characters, this dual role of psychotic twin brothers is I believe among the greatest work by an actor ever put on film. From Brando, to Pacino, to Oldman, the utter commitment and fearless acting as demonstrated here is like nothing I've seen before. I doubt that any actor could have delivered a more stunning, riveting, or ruthless performance as this, ever. He's simply in a class by himself.

Most pubs just pull to 80-90% full, wait 10 seconds and top off with the full flow and thus present a shit pint. You have to make the staff let the stout drop, the nitrogen needs time to do it's work or it kills the beer.

He bases his characters on real life people. In Rises instead of a Mexican wrestler he based Bane on a real life bare knuckle gypsy boxer from London and in Peaky Blinders he based Alfie Solomons on real life London Jewish gangster Alfie Solomon. This was more straightforward as the Krays are well documented not just in their crimes but also in their psychological profiles as they were held and examined for years in Broadmoor, the UK's highest security criminal prison nut house. Tom also played the only man the Krays ever feared with equal aplomb in the film "Bronson" (real name Michael Peterson) the UK's most violent prison inmate.

@@scottenosh4548 well that brits colonised North America ….So they are practically your cousins or family…
@scottenosh45483 жыл бұрын
@@S.Mir786 Mmm...not entirely accurate. Christian pilgrims from England and Europe were the first to colonize the east coast of North America. There were also a lot of Jews as well as Africans that arrived shortly afterwards. Long story short, what little authority the British had over the American colonies was crushed through the War for Independence. And then when the war of 1812 ended, all British government and military personnel were forced to leave for good. A lot has happened in the US since 1812. Tons of people from just about every nation on earth have moved here, started families, and those families have grown to become entire neighborhoods and even cities of their own. Africans, Asians, Italians, Greeks, Arabs, Iranians, Jews, Russians, etc etc etc. And as these communities have grown, so too has their influence on the way the American system works. Ultimately, America and Great Britain really arent that much alike anymore...biologically. Not only that, but Great Britain has also welcomed many foreigners a new lease on life since 1812. Lots of Jamaicans, Hindis, Arabs, Jews, etc. So the point can also be made that Great Britain isn't much like America anymore either...biologically.
