I have encountered this question and have trouble answering it. my check is just enough to pay my bill and 4eed my 4amily so what am I suppose to do? sorry the letter between the dand g is missing. thank you

no new testament scripture indicating we are to pay tithes...so many pastor are in error with this teaching.

The only possible way that a Christian can give the biblical tithe today is if that Christian would have to: a) be a physical descendant of Jacob. (Leviticus 27:34; Psalms 147:19-20) b) be given a portion of the Promised Land by God as an inheritance. (Genesis 28:13-15) c) move into the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 6:1-3; 12:1,10-11) d) raise crops or breed livestock on that portion of the Promised Land (Leviticus 27:30-33) e) take a tenth part of the crops raised, and/or every tenth animal of the livestock to pass under a rod to a physical descendant of Levi in the farming communities (Numbers 18:24-26; Nehemiah 10:37-38) f) be unfaithful to Jesus Christ (Romans 7:3-4) An attempt to tithe by any other means in any other geographic location is in direct contradiction to God's word, and would not be a biblical tithe.

Genesis 1 & 2 have absolutely NOTHING to do with tithing.
