সলমানরা যখন সংখ্যালঘুতে থাকে তখন তারা পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মতো বাঙালি বাঙালি ভাই ভাই দেখায় কিন্তু মুসলমানরা যখন সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ হয় তখন তারা সেখানে বাংলাদেশের মতো সত্যিকারের রঙ দেখায় কোরআন পড়ে বাঙালি মুসলমান বাঙালি হিন্দুদের বিরুদ্ধে গণহত্যা চালিয়েছিল মহান কলকাতা হত্যা নোয়াখালী দাঙ্গা 1950 পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের দাঙ্গা 1962 রাজশাহী গণহত্যা 1964 পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের দাঙ্গা (বাঙালি মুসলমান হিন্দু হত্যা শুরু করে কারণ কাশ্মীরের মসজিদে কিছু ধ্বংসাবশেষ নিখোঁজ ছিল) এটি আপনার বাঙালি ভ্রাতৃত্ব। বাংলাদেশের গণহত্যা (90% শিকার ছিল হিন্দু) 1971 যোগেন্দ্র নাথ মন্ডলদলিত বিশ্বাসঘাতকের পদত্যাগ পত্র (পাক পিএমকে লেখা চিঠিতে তিনি সেখানে বাঙালি ভাইদের দ্বারা হিন্দু গণহত্যার কথা উল্লেখ করেছেন) আপনি কি আমাকে বলতে পারেন যে বাঙ্গালী হিন্দুদের দ্বারা বাঙ্গালী মুসলমানের দিকে পরিচালিত কোন দাঙ্গা, হ্যাঁ বাংলাদেশে হিন্দু জনসংখ্যা 30% থেকে 7% কমেছে? এই গণহত্যা পশ্চিমবঙ্গে বাঙালি হিন্দুদের অভিবাসন ঘটায়, গার্গ চ্যাটার্জির মতো এই নিঃস্ব বাঙালি হিন্দুরা পশ্চিমবঙ্গ থেকে মুসলমানদের তাড়িয়ে দেওয়ার পরিবর্তে কমিউনিজম, ধর্মনিরপেক্ষতাকে সমর্থন করেছিল এবং পশ্চিমবঙ্গকে ধ্বংস করেছিল।,ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক আবুল বারকাতের একটি মূল বই, অর্পিত সম্পত্তি আইনের মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশে হিন্দু সংখ্যালঘুদের বঞ্চনার কারণ ও পরিণতির অনুসন্ধান, 2000 সালে প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল। এই বৈষম্যমূলক আইনের ফলে হিন্দু পরিবারের হারিয়ে যাওয়া মোট জমির পরিমাণ অনুমান করা হয়েছিল 1.64 মিলিয়ন একর (6,640 কিমি 2), যা হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের মালিকানাধীন মোট জমির 53 শতাংশ এবং মোট জমির 5.3 শতাংশের সমান। বাংলাদেশের ভূমি এলাকা এটি এক ধরনের পরিবর্তিত স্টকহোম সিন্ড্রোম। আমরা বাঙালি হিন্দুরা 1930 সাল থেকে মার্কসবাদী মতবাদ এবং গান্ধীবাদী বিদ্বেষের অবিরাম বোমাবর্ষণের শিকার হয়েছি। দুজনে মিলে আমাদের ডিএনএ-তে একটি স্বতঃসিদ্ধ স্থাপন করেছেন যে ‘একজন মুসলমান কোনো অন্যায় করতে পারে না’। এ কারণেই, যদিও 1946 সাল থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত প্রায় 1.3 কোটি হিন্দুকে পূর্ববঙ্গ/পূর্ব পাকিস্তান/বাংলাদেশ থেকে বিতাড়িত করা হয়েছিল, বিশ্ব এই দেশত্যাগের কথা জানে না এবং মনে করে এটি শুধুমাত্র পাঞ্জাবেই ঘটেছে!

I am so pleased to hear the story of Gopal Chandra Mukherjee. Being a Bengali and born and brought up in Kolkata, I have heard Gopal Chandra Mukherjee's story innumerable times. No one can even understand the real sentiment of the story if he does not comes to Kolkata and see through his own eyes. Today I stay outside of Kolkata but I really miss my birthplace and my motherland. Because of Gopal Mukherjee, I can say that I am a proud Hindu and a proud Indian and my motherland is Kolkata.

I am from Calcutta. I was born in Dhaka but my ancestors are from East Bengal . They lived there for centuries. I was too little to remember about east Bengal but everything learned from my parents about the history of partition. The Gopal Patha' story was a real story. He saved Calcutta from the atrocities started by Surabordi . He was the real hero for that time. He deserves our pronam.

I didn't know his name, but I heard his story from both my Mom and Dad(came from places which is now in Bangladesh). As they came to present India at that time of riots. My mom and dad told me there was only one man at Kolkata , who took steps to save Hindus at that time.

Well, the story of Gopal Mukherjee is indeed very inspiring. He was not only brave, but he was intelligent too. He strategically united vegetables vendors, milk man etc common people, he took help of iron smith in making weapons overnight, help of Marwadis and he united Hindus of Kolkata for one cause. He saved Kolkata from Islamist radicals who wanted Kolkata to be part of Pakistan... Same Kashmir strategy was applied in this case but under the leadership of Gopal Mukherjee, bengali hindus decided to fight rather than running away..
