Just a tip that compostable plates etc are only an OK alternative if you actually have composting facilities available. I'm not sure if UCLA provides compost service. But if you throw them in the trash they do not get composted, they still end up in the landfill and do not break down properly!

oh! you may wish to try amigurumi if you get tired of crocheting squares. there are a lot of free patterns online, some of which only take an hour or two to make, and turn out super cute. I get bored of squares and blankets and such pretty easily, so I love finding smaller patterns on the internet and just making random animals
