"What can I do to make this better?" I miss hearing that. When I would get nervous about something new or because some situation was morally conflicting (I'm an ISFJ) my INFJ friend would always say, "What can I do to make this better?" Me: "Hugs...all the hugs."

"I don't 'zone out'. Being zoned out is my neutral state and I occasionally zone back in to see what's going on" I'm not an INFJ so idk if it's an INFJ thing but it seems like something an INFJ would say. Yes, but "feel better" is one step later, in the end. It comes with clarity, nuances of clarity regarding those "thoughts". The feel-better is a nice side effect, if it reaches that "point" :D

I've had 'thought dumps' when I've bottled up too much then non-INFJs get overwhelmed when they've been in the vicinity when I got overwhelmed. It's like a Pythagorean siphon of thoughts, once I start to overflow I don't stop until near empty (I had to google the name as I forgot 'pythagorean'). I got stuck in a Cost-Co for an hour and a half because an employee kept talking to me about...whatever. I did the "uh huh", "or really?" "no way," the entire time. When a customer showed up he would say " hold on, I'll be right back." He'd deal with them and return and talk more. I didn't have it in me to just leave while he was helping them because I didn't want him to feel bad. But I still had an empty shopping cart and hadn't had supper and was hungry. I just really hope to this day he appreciated that I gave him that much of my time. Everyone I've told this to thinks I'm a crazy person for staying that long. They don't understand the internal conflict I guess.

"People always overshare, is it because I nod and look interest and empathetic, that's all an act" I've never laughed so loud in my life. People always ask me for advice in marriages relationship even when I'm single. I've usually nodd and give them advice based on the k-dramas that I've seen instead of telling them that they should see a marriage counselor. And I always get lost in department stores and car parking lots, but have no problems telling roads directions.

"Let me just talk you for an hour about something I read in a pamphlet in two minutes" I wish more INFJs were like this, not going to lie. Recently discovered I may be an INFJ. I have this weird habit of fantasising about constructing long-term, complex solutions to various social problems that I see around me, thinking from the perspective of an administrator or a legislator. Is it an INFJ thing to always try to fix stuff that is broken?

Once during class, i was completely zoned out. I’m staring at the board with empty heads and my lecturer see it through my eyes. So he started pointing out students to ask questions, me being the first. I was completely flustered since i know damn well i am not listening to him. But somehow, i managed to answer the question accurately with examples and explanations included that i shocked myself. I was like “holy shit how did i do that”. My lecturer was shocked too, he didn’t see that coming at all. Anyway, thats the level of power we INFJs hold.

My teacher was going around the room having everyone read a paragraph. I counted the amount of people and figured out what paragraph would be mine. I then took a nap. She called on (I woke up the second time) and she had the biggest smile thinking she got me. The look on her face was priceless when I started reading from exactly where the last person left off

Wow. I feel naked and exposed. My one push back would be I do actually enjoy listening to others talk, I find people insanely interesting. The only issue is that Ni zone out where I find myself dissecting what they’re saying and then five minutes have passed and I haven’t been listening.

As an INFJ, I feel so called out right now xD Especially with the first one. At some point my parents both started confiding in me whenever they have a little quarrel, and they always are both right in some way. Even though I don't think the same as they, I can still understand why they think that way. It's almost frustrating to them that I don't pick a side. 🤷 And, yes, I'm my siblings' free therapist without even trying... lol

1:12 I never realized this was an INFJ thing - genuinely thought I was just stupid (well, I guess the two aren't mutually exclusive...) Whenever I look into conspiracies, no matter how ridiculous, I can always see the believers' perspectives and justify why it might be true. Same thing with homeopathy and stuff like that - I just avoid all of it for fear of falling in too deep.

Some correlations people made within it was unrealistic but it's scary to continuously discover how dark a truth can be.
