I have read that the smoke profilings on thereat is pretty weak in gravity fed smokers. What has been your experience?

Very nice smoker and thanks for the video. I am thinking of getting the Baby but my only concern is the amount of charcoal it holds. I don't entertain much so the room for food is fine. Can you smoke overnight or do you need to add charcoal every 6 hours?

Hi, thank you, been wanting to see more of this smoker up close. Right after you bought it you said you wish it was bigger. Some say you need at least a 22" wide smoker for ribs, how do you find this with meats you find and cook. Asking because Baby Back Ribs may be my favorite thing to smoke. BUT. How are you liking it now. I'm sgl n cook for myself. would maybe like to cook 3 to 6 things(smoked mac n chz, 2 baby back ribs, chicken thighs OR a brisket or pork butt) at a time and often so this one Ive heard is economical. Would you say now, get the Baby or the XL Baby. Also the XL is almost 2x the Volume so should take longer recovery times get up to temp and use more fuel. How do you like the size and performance of Stumps Baby now? Leonard...Thank You

Stumps recommend not using lump charcoal. Just saying.

Johnnie: This smoker is AWESOME. I use it pretty much every weekend and have smoked everything on it. It works well with temperature settings and I can just start it and forget it. In all honesty the biggest issue with it is getting it started. Got a large weed torch from Home Depot and that helps a lot with getting the lump charcoal going. I have found that peach and post oak are my favorite woods to use and the smell emanating from this thing when it is going is unbelievable.

Thank you for the detailed response, I've been researching gravity fed smokers and have been giving Stumps a real hard look. The idea of sit it and forget it and not needing a water pan has me almost convinced to become a part of Stumps Nation. Thanks again and please post more videos at your convenience.

kray brother No, that comes standard on all of their models. When you visit their site and look at the smoker you want, all of the add-ons are listed with the additional pricing.

She's a full blood boxer with OCD issues :-) We got her after a family had her for month or so and then decided they didn't want her. This dog will chase flashes of light anywhere. She's a good dog and we really like the breed. How about that dog in your profile picture?
