I want both Mark and Cayote in one video. Two simultaneous stings.
@isaiahtowers18652 ай бұрын
I like the idea, but I think doing two stings would then ultimately turn this show into something more of an entertainment show and a challenge, not an educational show which is what they claim themselves to be so they can even post these videos
@MattG-v7s2 ай бұрын
As cool as it would be to see both in the same video, getting stung by the same wasp would not. 2 reasons, 1) a wasp has only so much venom, after a sting, it may need to replenish, making a second sting not the same as the first. 2) it's like sharing a needle. Which leads me to this PSA: Never share used wasps.

To be precise, the hornet that Mark Vins got stung by in this video, is known as "The Lesser Banded Hornet" also known as Vespa Affinis. It has gained notoriety in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong and other South East Asian countries for its potent sting which poses a life-threatening anaphylaxis. While a single sting is not likely to be deadly, at least 8 people has died in Indonesia from taking multiple stings from the Lesser Banded Hornet. The deaths usually come as a result of severe anaphlaxis triggers by the immune system's negative reaction to the Lesser Banded Hornet's venom. So hence, whatever you do, avoid disturbances to the Lesser Banded Hornets' nest as you will have to pay the price of doing that.

My friend was bitten by a Bornean Keeled Pit Viper last January in our workplace while he was cutting creepers behind our workshop.Our workshop happened to be near the jungle.Luckily we hurried him to the hospital and he was hospitalized 2 days and thankfully he pulled through.Happened in Kuching,Sarawak Borneo Malaysia. The Yellow Banded Hornet is the most deadliest hornet in Malaysia.50 times sting can deliver venom that can be equivalent of 1 dose of king cobra venom.Many cases here in Malaysia people died because of the sting of this hornet if the hornet came in swarms or stinging their body parts where the main nerves are.
